Medicine Box

“Sorry about that.”   “Fine, but next time tell me where you’re going first okay?” I exclaimed.   “Okay, Camille Louella.”   We were halfway towards the falls when I forgot something.   “Oh wait, we didn’t get any detergent,” I exclaimed.   “I’ll get some,” he volunteered but I stopped him.   “No, go ahead. I’ll meet you there,” I exclaimed, not waiting for his answer as I went back to the shed. Actually, I just remembered that I also need to wash the boxers I used. Ugh! This is why tampons are a much-needed necessity for women! Especially on an island where laundry shops don’t exist!   I went inside the mansion first to get the boxers and then walked back to the shed to get the detergent bars. Even though Trevor repeatedly told me that it’s okay for him to wash the sheets I used, I still feel gross out. I mean I have never even washed some clothing with blood in them.   Well, I have unlimited tampons at home, so I never experienced having blood all over my bottoms, and besides, even if I do, I don’t wash clothes! I’m Camille Louella Herrera Montellano for Pete’s sake. We have too many maids that I don’t even remember them all. They’re practically fighting for any housework because it’s just me and my parents and there are like 20 of them.   Well, as I’ve said. I’m a real-life princess so it’s a no shocker that we have a lot of house maids. And we pay generously so it’s not really rocket science why even when I’m such a b***h, our house helps don’t resign or something.   I was supposed to follow Trevor when I already got the detergent bars when something caught my attention. It was a white box hidden below which sort of looked like a blanket maid of abaca. I don’t know why it’s cold but I’m curious about what it is!   I tried opening it but then it was locked. Hmm? Why is this locked? It’s locked using a number combination which is typically used for luggage. Lucky for me, I know the trick to these kinds of things. I rolled the numbers and listened for the ‘click’. I repeated what I’m doing until I was able to get the correct passcode. It’s 8-2-5, huh? Why am I even curious about this? And it’s one big box. Why didn’t I notice this before?   Oh, it’s a medicine box. It’s filled with different kinds of medicine, which is boring. This is where Trevor got the meds that he made me drink huh? I was supposed to close the box already when something caught my attention. It’s a white small plastic bag and it’s still sealed so I checked inside.   Wait, what? Are these…. tampons? Wait.   Tampons? Why would Trevor have tampons in a medicine box?   I mean I understand the medicine because whoever threw him here might have thought that he needed it. Because it’s filled with pain killers and stuff. But why tampons? Why would someone put tampons here?   And then it dawned on me.   Tampons…… Trevor would never need one…… why does he have one though?   I immediately walked toward the falls bringing the box with me. It’s incredibly heavy but I don’t care. I was walking so fast that I didn’t see a twig on my way, so I tripped. But that’s okay, that’s nothing. I need to talk to Trevor right now. I need to.   I reached the falls and I saw him immediately.   “Camille?” I was confused when he started walking towards me as well. I thought of running…. Because I’m so scared.   “Why are you crying?” he asked once again. I didn’t even know that I’m crying. “What the f**k happen to your knee?!” I was startled when he suddenly kneeled. I didn’t even feel that my knee had been bleeding. I can’t feel anything.   “Camille? What is it? What happened? Why are you crying?” he repeatedly asked me a question and I just can’t help but sob. H-How dare he?   “Y-You l-lied to me,” I was stuttering trying to compose a sentence.   “What?” He looked confused. No, he has fooled me enough times already. I should never fall for those eyes again. never! “Camille? What is it?”   “Y-You f-fooled m-me….” I was trembling and I couldn’t hold the box anymore, so I just let it fall down near my feet. He heard the sound and that’s where he noticed that I’m carrying something.   “Y-You lied to me…… Trevor, you lied to me….” I was feeling dizzy. So dizzy that I feel like I’m going to puke any second. I feel angry, sad, and so scared. I don’t know. I don’t know anymore………   “Camille… listen it’s not what you think,” he tried to grab my hand, but I immediately flinched and stepped away from him. He's not the Trevor that I know…. no, he’s not the Trevor Helios I know. No….   “Please Camille Louella, you have to listen to me,” he exclaimed as he stepped forward, and I just felt like I had to run, and I couldn’t. I was urging my feet to move but I was there, stuck, crying while he’s staring at me.   “Please Camille….”   “No…. you lied to me.”
