This is an urban legend, but unlike most urban legends, this one feels more like an occult practice rather than just a scary story.
It is one of the most infamous internet born legends, originating from creepypasta and Reddit’s NoSleep forum in the early 2010s.
... And is said to act as a “gateway” to one’s subconscious allowing participants to “meet their kings” and confront the truths they hide.
To perform the ritual, you must enter a completely dark room at 3:30 AM and set up three chairs in a triangle formation.
One chair, known as the Throne, is for the participant.
The other two chairs, placed to the left and right, represent the Queen and the Fool, whose reflections are shown in two large mirrors facing the throne.
