"Happy Birthday, darling Steffi! Blow your candles."
I blow my candles and mommy hugged me tightly.
"I love you, baby! Happy Birthday!"
She whispered into my ears.
That is the sweetest word that I've ever heard. Although she says that every day, I don't get tired of hearing it from her.
But, I forgot something.
"Where's daddy, mommy? Is he coming?"
"Of course, baby. Why not? Oh, there he is!"
I turned around and saw daddy. I ran towards him and jumped at him.
"Daddy, you're here!"
"Happy Birthday, Princess Steffi. I have a present for you."
"Wow! What is this daddy?" I looked at the small box wrapped in a beautiful wrapper, and my heart is jumping for joy.
"Open it for daddy."
I obeyed dad and opened his present.
"Wow! These are beautiful, daddy!"
It was a beautiful white dress and a pink clip.
"Beautiful just like my baby Steff. Wear it now baby."
I ran towards mommy and asked for help. She helped me get dressed and she told me to let daddy pin the clip on my hair.
"Daddy, can you pin it for me?"
"Of course!" Daddy pinned the pink clip on my hair. It suits perfectly with my dress!
"How do I look, daddy?"
"Perfect! My princess is so pretty!"
"Oh yes, I agree!" Mommy also exclaimed. She brought a camera with her and positioned it on a camera stand.
Daddy carried me and mommy went on the left side so I was in between them.
I smiled with my most beautiful smile. This is indeed the best day of my life.
