I felt my heart shatter at her words. “It’s OK. It’s just s*x. It doesn’t have to mean anything. I should go shower. The others will be coming to check on us soon,” I lied, and walked into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and looked in the mirror. There were still two bullet wounds that hadn’t closed altogether but they didn’t hurt. Natalia must have healed me. My own body never healed this fast on its own.
