Catherine POV
I push my fear aside and continue to run. I try to focus and ignore the pain in my body. I hear loud footsteps which come from behind me. The footsteps speed faster. I push my body to run faster, but my muscles are hurt and in my body, the pain is growing.
I feel it when someone grabs my shirt and I start to fall. I turn in the air and grab the person's neck with my hand, who hunts me down. I land on my back but still grab my attacker's neck and squeeze it. I groan from the pain of the impact. When I look up I find myself looking into a pair of beautiful blue eyes.
