Peace POV
“Getting married?” I repeat his words like I want to be sure I’m not hearing things.
“You are finally saying something, at least we are moving forward” He replied and went to take his seat crossing his leg over the other one.
“I can’t marry you!” I state firmly like he’s ever going to listen to my opinion.
“Well, this matter is not an issue of asking you to marry me, you have no choice but to marry me. It's not like I want to marry you too” He replied and refilled his wine.
“I’m not the one that killed your mate, why can’t you just let me go?” I ask looking down feeling frustrated.
“You know who did it and you refuse to say something, that’s why I can’t let you go. Someone has to pay for her death and since the pack thinks I can’t keep someone who betrayed her
