I walked down the stairs feeling light and I must say the best so far in a few years, “You don’t have to make it obvious that you enjoy your one thing” Betty said coming down from the other stairs.
“How the hell did I make that obvious? I just walk down the stairs like I usually will and you say that” I scoff and take my seat at the dining table.
“I feel like we should eat together more,” Henry said and I smiled at him, raising my eyebrows in accordance with what he said.
“Why? It feels like we are preparing to die to me and we have to create a bonding space” Betty shoves the idea off.
