Something had changed.
I felt it but I wasn’t complaining because I knew that it was a good thing. Despite what I asked for, Tiana and I grew closer. The constant bickering was still there but it felt comfortable and lighter than before. My girlfriend was trying her best to give me some time to think but it didn’t mean she must stay away from me. She was still there, being so optimistic with her dashing smile and bright red curly hair. She was just acting like ‘the talk’ never happened but I knew that it was her way to fulfill my wishes. She really was giving her best effort to be true and I appreciated that so much.
