CHAPTER 5: DH Café

*Yura’s POV*
Well, I’m all prepared. Should I go now?
I think so, like Hongsik said, first impression matters.
(arrived at the café)
Wooahhh… The café is so neat; it feels like home.
“Excuse me, I’m here to apply for a job as a part time worker. Where should I go?” I asked one of the employee.
“You can go upstairs. Find a guy wearing a fur jacket” She replied.
“Thank you”. I go upstairs excitedly, this feels like home, I hope they will accept me.
Ah... that’s the fur jacket guy, looking at the wall. Let me say hi first.
“Excuse me, I’m here to apply for a job as a part timer. Am I speaking to the right person?” I asked.
“Oh yes, please take a seat” he said as he turns back to look at me. Our eyes widen.
Wait what… it’s Dohyun!
“Sorry, I think you’re not the person I’m looking for. Do you see a person with fur jacket here” I said while looking away as fast as I can. This cannot be happening right now!
“I think I’m the right person young lady. Come sit with me” he smirks.
I slowly reach my seat, and sit in front of him. He’s looking at me with a smirk.

*Dohyun’s POV*
Well well well, who’s here. A woman who slapped my face now wants to work for me.
“So, shall we begin? What’s your name?” I start the interview right away.
But, I don’t think her mind is in the right place right now.
“My name is Yura” she replied.
“Looking at your application form, you are 18 years old right? Why are you looking for a part time job?” I asked her professionally.
“I… I’m thinking of working on my Christmas holiday because I live alone, so I have to fulfill my daily needs.” she answered.
“So, you live alone?” I asked her again, I can’t help but looking at her with a smirk on my face. This is fun.
“Yes I do” she answered briefly.
“What contribution can you give to the company if we accept you?” I asked.
“I will contribute….”
“Ok. Do you know that we have a lot of customers during Christmas? Are you willing to work overtime?”
Sorry young lady, I don’t want to hear your answer.
“Yes, I…”
“Ok. When are you ready to start working?” I cut her again, sorry I am a jerk.
“Tomorrow would be okay” she answered.
“Perfect, you work on the night shift tonight” Tomorrow is to late dear.
“Excuse me?” she answered while holding her anger.
“What? Are you going to slap your boss? Again?” I said devilishly.
“I’m…” she said. Hahaha she looks confuse.
“Are you here to meet me? Are you my stalker?” I asked to the point.
“Hell no! I don’t even know that this café is yours!” she replied.
“Look at you, unbelievable, what do you think DH Café means? DH Media? Take a wild guess. Of course DH means Dohyun! Where’ve you been?” I laughed sarcastically. I can’t believe what I heard. Ckckck.

*Yura’s POV*
How stupid I am, so this is the meaning of Kaya’s glare last night. Damn why am I so careless.
“If you don’t have any question, I’ll show you around” He gets up and ready to leave the table.
“I’m sorry…” I said.
He looks at me with his confuse eyes.
“I am sorry I slapped you yesterday” I added.
He smirks and said, “Let’s go, I’ll show you around”
I . AM . STUPID! Why did I apologize? I just thought I don’t want to have a bad relationship with my ‘boss’. So I apologized, but he didn’t even answer me… I am embarrassing. I just want to punch my head.
He walks with me to the changing room, the storage room, janitor room, and he introduces me to all the employee. After that we go to the 2nd floor to take a photo, and he print it right away on a card. He gives me my ID card, my uniform, and my apron. Well, he is not upsetting when he acts like a boss.
He takes me back to the café, and suddenly, there is this bunch of girls, screaming and running towards us.

Dohyun oppa, please sign this! You’re so handsome~
Wow wow wow... I know he is the school celebrity, but here too??? Unbelievable.
I slipped in and out of the crowd. I can see he’s looking at me with that usual smirk.
Argh, whatever, I want to grab my lunch first.

5.30 PM
I am back at the café and start getting ready. The uniform is actually so pretty, I like it. I love everything in this café, except my boss. Suddenly, I hear a familiar voice,
“Yura!”
I look back and find Hongsik waving at me. His smile brightens my night.
“What are you doing here?” I asked.
“I want to hang out with the boys tonight. So this is your part time job? You know this place is Dohyun’s right?” he asked with concern.
“Well I don’t know it’s his place until this afternoon. He interviewed me. I was so shocked. He wants me to work tonight” I sighed while ranting to Hongsik. As usual, he smiles at me.
“Well, I think it’s a good thing. We can’t meet if you’re not here right now”. He replied.
Ugh, is he sweet-talking to me? Because it works, my heart is beating faster than usual.
“Oi! Hongsik! Here!” Dohyun shouted, calling for Hongsik.
“New girl! Bring us 3 cappuccinos, 1 green tea latte, 1 Americano, and 5 soju. ASAP” he said to me.
He pissed me off!
“Yes” I replied briefly. Hongsik smiles at me, and he goes to the table to join the boys.
I go to the bar and start making their drinks. I pay attention to them, they’re always so happy when they’re together. It’s almost unbelievable that Dohyun is pain in the ass.
I bring the drinks to their table, and Dohyun called me,
“Yura, said hello to my friend, you already know Hongsik, this is Chan, Minseok, and Seojun” He said to me, and I just bow a little for greetings.
“Hongsik, Chan, Minseok, Seojun, this is my new part-timer, Yura. Remember the girl I told you guys? Who slapped my face yesterday?? Hahahaha” Dohyun laughed.
Grrr... He’s bringing it up again. His friends laugh hysterically,
“Hi Yura! It’s so good to hear that there’s a woman who can slap him” said Chan while laughing.
Seojun and Minseok also laugh and asking me to join them.
Hongsik and Dohyun is just smiling and looking at the boys and me.
I just smile awkwardly, and walk back to my post.

11 PM.
I’m getting ready to go home, the boys are still there, drinking, I think some of them are drunk.
They’re playing truth or dare.
“I dare you to kiss her! With tongue!! hahaha” said Seojun while pointing at me.
Suddenly Dohyun walks towards me, he hugs me and kisses me, aggressively. Like they said, with tongue.
I couldn’t move because he’s hugging me real tight.
I am stunned.
He pushes me after that intense kiss, and he smiles at me. I look away and find Hongsik standing up, looking at us.
