Hayden’s POV It bothered me a lot to see her like that. The way she whimpered in her sleep while she tossed and turned around, concerned me, and despite now knowing what the cause was, I couldn’t do anything to prevent it. For two nights now, she had woken up covered in sweat and tears and I had tried my best to calm her down. It worked for a while, but then again just when I thought it was over for the night, it began all over again. What made it even more difficult was that she had begun thinking that we should sleep apart, so it didn’t affect me and my sleep because that made her sad as well and I knew why.
