“So what should we do?” asked Kaj ingenuously.
“Defeat the tulvars in any way possible. And to do this, you will have to leave Elelreel and go east, to take advantage of the opportunities that will arise.” Tilwen’s words seemed almost like a prophecy.
“Which is to commence following the end of the celebrations for the Winter Solstice, and not before,” commanded the King. “With the permission of the Supreme Druidess, I call this meeting to adjournment.”
Tilwen nodded, and at that moment her voice, soft and delicate, came to Kaj’s mind, inviting him to join her.
Everyone left the throne room, parting to resume their usual duties. Only Kaj, having arrived at his room at the Golddeer, did not feel satisfied. Something was calling out to him, far away. He had to leave town.
