When the door closed again, he and the King looked each other over. Yenven Hushblade was the last of his line: the only House left of the ancient clans present before the Reconciliation. He was tall, rather thin, as was typical for an elf, with long pure-white hair, styled as a half-up ponytail gathered in a braid; his eyes were a deep yellow, and his eyebrows were thick, a mark of his old age. His skin was clear, and his face was furrowed by some wrinkles. He was, in fact, one of the few elves who had reached the age of a hundred and nine, though it seemed he did not much feel the weight of his years. He wore elegant clothes decorated with natural motifs. His overcoat, long enough to almost touch the ground in the back, was shorter in the front, and fastened at the chest by a silver chain
