XIThe path up the steep slopes of the Peaks led them to the plateau on which Dreyn’s group was stationed. When they arrived, they discovered the bitter truth: everything had been buried by a fresh new landslide. The workers were already back on the job, passing the stones from hand to hand and trying to free some of their buried tools as quickly as possible. One of them grew petrified when he saw the lifeless body of a dwarf amidst the rocks. He called out to the others, and Dreyn also joined them.
