Thundery clouds that were looming against the overcast earlier had seemed to doggedly follow us all the way from Wat Pai Ngoen in Bangkok and flashes of lightning could be seen streaking across the skies above as it threatened to pour down to earth without a warning. The thunder that followed after each lightning that flashed across the skies was booming closer and closer each time. There would be a thunderstorm soon and everyone was anticipating to land into one of the hotels nearby and grab some grub before the rain comes.
