Katy is having her scan first and then we are going to visit Mrs McClaren. I think I feel as nervous as Katy and Alex.
I look admiringly at Andrew as he quickly books Katy in and makes small talk with the receptionist. When the doctor comes out, and greets him personally and Andrew shakes his hand and then calls Katy and Andrew over.
The doctor takes them into a room and Andrew comes and sits down next to me. “Why are you so worried?”
I give him a look, “I just want everything to be okay.” He nods.
"So tell me how many children have you been dreaming of?”
I feel my cheeks heat up “Andrew please don’t tease me, it’s actually quite painful for me now I know I won’t be finally getting my family.”
