*Chapter 2: The Experiment*
Min-soo, a ruthless enforcer, received a tip about his enemies' location. He tracked them down, his eyes cold as ice. He caught one of the men, a sniveling coward, and dragged him to a warehouse.
"Tell me about the boss," Min-soo growled, his voice dripping with menace. "Who is he working for?"
The man shook his head, sweat dripping from his brow. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!"
Min-soo sighed, his expression unchanging. He nodded to his subordinate, who pulled out a knife and plunged it into the man's chest. The man's scream was short-lived, and his body was dumped into the ocean, feeding the fish.
The news of the man's demise reached the boss's ears, and he erupted into a fit of rage. "Min-soo thinks he can defy me? I'll show him the true meaning of power!"
Unbeknownst to the boss, Min-soo had an informant within his ranks. He received a message, his eyes narrowing as he read the text. "The boss is moving. Get ready."
Min-soo arrived at the hospital, his eyes scanning the crowded lobby. He spotted Jae-hyun, pale and worried, pacing outside a patient's room. Min-soo's gaze lingered, his interest piqued.
As Jae-hyun turned, their eyes met, and for a moment, they shared a spark of recognition. Min-soo's expression remained neutral, but his mind was racing. Who was this young man, and why did he feel so...familiar?
