The next morning, I decided to go for a walk to clear my head. Mike was still asleep, so this was the best time to sneak out. While I was hovering around some park, I realized just how much everything that happened last night was eating me up inside. I needed to talk to Peter, and I needed to do it now. So I texted him and he responded for me to come back right away. Mike didn’t know that Carmen had given me some money and a transit card, so I was able to go and see him even without Mike having to drive me. I didn’t know if I could drive on my own, but this wasn’t the time to try and find out.
