Prim sat beside Egan on the short ride, and then he guided her into his chopper that flew them back to the Alexakis mansion.
“You really should go see a doctor, to be certain everything is fine.” Egan said, taking her hand.
She studied him.
Was he really so shaken? Because usually, he would demand, not ask.
“You were underwater for hours.” Egan gently held her face, and stared at him.
“Let me see my family first.” She replied gently, staring into his eyes.
He nodded, and hugged her close.
When they arrived at the mansion, everyone was waiting for them in Grandma Alexakis' large living room. Jet and Lin ran to her and clung so tightly to her.
She squatted down to their eye levels and kissed them both.
“I am fine. Sissy is fine.”
They both leaned their heads on her shoulders
