“Hey—”
“I already talked to your dad and he let me go here to you—” he gulped and eyed me from head to toe and back to my lips and eyes. “I'm sorry if I saw you with just— that. I didn't mean to.”
The images of me wrapped in a short towel replayed on my head making my face burn.
“H— he let you?” I clarified. What's with my father?
He closed his eyes and sighs again before turning his back on me. “He did and we talked. You're not grounded anymore. You can stay with me all you want as per his words. He just made me promise something—” he cut his words with a fake cough.
“Promise what?” I walked to him and peek at his face, he turned it away. “Hey!”
He took a step back and walked towards the door. “We should just go down to the living room and talk there.”
I walk to him with a frown.
