The contact made me stiffen a bit but I forced myself to tap his back. He's crying so silently making me tear up too. “S— sorry.” I said and felt him bury his head on the crook of my neck as he sobs more. It's not uncomfortable. It somewhat feels right. It isn't actually in contact with my bare skin but it just fits, feels right. My hands flew to his hair and caressed it. He calmed or melted on it and wrapped his arms around me. “I— don't want to— believe your words.” he whispered. I nodded. “I know. I understand.” After a few more minutes, his head left my shoulder and wiped his tears. “You made me cry eh?” he joked. I chuckled as I gave him my handkerchief. “You made me cry too.” I answered, making him chuckle and look at me with softness. “What?” “Did my brother call you sister?”
