I woke up the next morning, feeling very alive but uneasy. I didn’t know if I was actually having some weird thoughts.
As I sat on the bed with the towel wrapped around my waist, my mind flashed back to last night. I could have sworn he was here.
I didn’t think I was dreaming or making things up. I definitely saw him, felt him, and saw him smash his lips against mine.
Or was all that just a fragment of my imagination? Were these thoughts appearing in my head because I had thought about him before bed?
I had thought so, but then when my lips felt sore and uneasy, I began to doubt my own thoughts. My lips said otherwise.
I was still lost in my thoughts when the door opened, and the devil I had been thinking about all night appeared before me.
