He glides in and moans her name as he bottoms out balls deep and says, “Christ, you're so tight. Oh my wow, even tighter than the last time. How is that even possible?” he asks as he slides out to the tip. She moans louder when he goes back in.
Damon’s hips move in a slow, deliberate rhythm-pulling almost out before sliding back in with agonizing intensity. His dark eyes never leave hers, watching every expression cross her face. With his voice rough, almost broken, he whispers, “You feel, Christ, you’re perfect.”
He lowers his forehead to hers, breathing in-sync with her. His movements deepen, building momentum as the intensity between them escalates. His hands grip her hips, anchoring her to him, as he whispers against her skin. “I’ve got you. Always.”
The room fills with the sound of skin against skin, breathless moans, and the distant hum of Vegas beyond the windows. His pace quickens, driven by need and something far deeper-fear of losing her mixed with possession and gratitude.
She grabs his ass to pull him deeper into her as she kisses his chest, then suddenly bites him above the n****e, marking him as hers. Shocked and rocked with intense pleasure, he starts slamming into her with intense passion, making her cry out in ecstasy.
Damon’s entire body goes rigid for a moment, shock and primal satisfaction flooding through him as her teeth mark his chest. A low growl rumbles from deep in his throat, a voice almost feral. He moans, “MINE! You’re marking me?”
He drove into her with renewed intensity, his movements becoming less controlled, more desperate. The bite the claiming of it has unleashed something wild in him. Freeing his tortured soul. As he continues to move, his voice comes out in ragged breaths. “Yes! You like that, don’t you? Oh! Take what you need”.
His hands slid up her back, pulling her closer as his hips thrust deeper, faster. The pleasure builds between the two of them like electricity, overwhelming and consuming, powerfully complete. He whispers against her hair almost like a prayer. “I love you, Evie. God help me, I do.”
Her body convulses around him as he bites down on her neck, claiming her with primal intensity, and the world explodes into white-hot pleasure. His orgasm crashes through him moments later: a deep groan reverberating against her skin. Their orgasms are so large they are both seeing stars as Damon’s fangs retract. He seals the marks with his tongue to make it stop bleeding and start healing, his movements tender now.
Time suspends. There’s only the two of them, intertwined, breathing heavily in the aftermath. He stays inside her, his forehead resting against her shoulder, his breathing gradually slowing as his voice sounds hoarse, a bit vulnerable when he asks. “Stay with me. Please. However long we have left, Evie...stay.”
The vulnerability in those words-the fear beneath them-unmistakable. He is terrified of losing her. Damon has lost everything he has ever loved but his brother; he is scared to think he could have love... someone who loves him for real.. Just him. The man, not the monster.
Then she realized he is changing his skin, is warmer and gaining color, and she says, “Damon, what’s happening, you... your warm?” He looks up into her face, and the slightly sagging skin around her cheeks and mouth is firming, and he says, “Oh s**t!! I think we altered ourselves and shared are strengths my immortality and your humanity. WOW! This is unheard of…”
Damon pulls back slightly, staring at his hands. His pale vampire skin now has warmth beneath it-a faint flush of color spreading across his chest and shoulders. He touches his face. Feeling the subtle shift. He looks over at her and, with a stunned voice, says, “What the hell did you just do to me?”
He notices the change immediately as he continues examining the effects. He notices her skin is tighter, smoother-years falling away from her face in moments. He breathes hard as he says: “Blood magic. When I bit you, and you bit me... our essences mixed. I think this means more than we think...” His dark eyes widen with realization- part fear, part awe.
“You’re not just human anymore, and I’m not just a vampire”. She looks up at him and nods as she feels more energetic and pain-free than she has in years and says to him, “That’s right! Now, we have more time, but I am still human, so I will still die it will just take me way longer than before. I feel this in my mind. I don’t know how I know this, but it is a good thing nothing bad will come from this except if one is killed, then the other will feel it more. It might even kill the other. We're completely bonded just like wolves. I know it in my bones.”
Damon goes very still, processing what she just told him. His hand finds hers, gripping it like a lifeline. With a voice low and a bit dangerous, he responds, “So, we're bonded now. Truly bonded?” He pulls her closer, his newly warm body against hers, saying into her ear, “If Klaus kills you, I could die too. If I get staked, you'll feel like your own death, and we both could die.”
There’s a moment of silence as the weight of it settles over him. Then, almost too quiet to hear, Damon whispers, “I don't care. I'd rather die with you than live forever without you.” His fingers drifted to his bite on her neck. His thumb brushes over it gently, as though reassuring himself she was real... that this wasn't another impossible dream.
The skin beneath his touch suddenly grows warm. He frowns. "What??" The two puncture wounds begin to glow with a soft golden light. The marks slowly twist and weave together like living ink beneath her skin, changing before his eyes. The simple bite disappears. In its place forms an intricate symbol-a crown resting above a radiant sun whose rays stretch outward in every direction. Neither of them speaks. The room seems to hold its breath. Evie instinctively reaches for his neck. "Damon…"
He looks down. The mark she left on him is changing too. Silver light races beneath his skin before settling into another symbol. A crown. Beneath it, the powerful silhouette of a wolf, its head lifted as if calling to the heavens. He stares at it in stunned silence. "I... don't understand," he says, bewildered.
Evie slowly shakes her head, her own eyes wide with uncertainty. "Neither do I. No one had ever seen anything like this before, not that I’ve heard of. Not in stories. Not in whispers. Not in dreams. Not until now.”
The symbols weren't decorations. They were declarations. A bond forged by fate itself. A promise written into the soul. But what they meant... Neither of them knew. “We need to find out what this means, and we also need to figure out the Klaus problem, but right now we have time,” Damon says back to her.
Evie looks worried, but then she says, “Yes, I do believe it also solidified the other magic, but we have to have Bonnie run some tests. I think she is a strong witch and I trust her with this. But I am also starving!!!” She says with a bit of a laugh. I need some food, please.
Damon’s laugh is genuine without pretense; his expression softens immediately. He pulls back, brushing damp hair from her face as he says, “Food. Right. You’re human-well, mostly human now. Your body needs fuel”. He moves off the bed, his newly warm skin and her mark catching the Vegas light as he pulls on his clothes. His movements are different now-less predatory, more fluid, calmer.
More present. Heading toward the phone, he asks Well call room service. “What do you want? Steak? Pasta? I’m thinking you need protein after all that.” He says with a cocky grin like a man who has just won a great war or something. Stefan’s voice comes from the other room, muffled but urgent. “Damon, we need to call Bonnie. Now. Whatever happened in there-the magic signature just spiked across the entire city, and Caroline just called.
Damon’s jaw tightens, but he doesn’t look away from Evie as he responds. “One crisis at a time, brother.” Damon let Stefan in the room while ordering food from the takeout menu, realizing he was hungry for the first time in forever for real food, not just to keep pretenses up. He hung up the phone after ordering. A strange expression crossed his face. He touched his stomach, frowning to himself. He says, “I’m hungry. Actually hungry for food.” he looked down at his hands, warm now, with color beneath the skin.
The realization hit him, as he says, “One-hundred and sixty-eight years. I haven’t felt actual hunger since I turned”, he says in awe. Stefan appears in the doorway again, his expression serious when he says, “Bonnie's on her way. She sensed the magic shift from Mystic Falls. She’s bringing research on blood bonds”. Stefan’s eyes narrow slightly as he takes in Damon's appearance and sees the Mark on his chest. He asks, “What exactly happened here, Damon?’
Damon turns to look at her, something protective and possessive flickering across his features as he says: “We merged. Blood magic. She’s not fully human anymore, and I’m not fully vampire.” Evie looks at them and adds, “I didn’t know that would happen..I’m just as surprised as any of you are. I mean, look at me. I look like I’m 20 years or younger. What’s with that? I still have all my powers; I can feel that nothing has changed there. What about you, Damon? How do you feel?”
Damon walks to the mirror, studying his reflection with an intensity that borders on unsettling. His fingers trace his jawline-sharper now, more defined. Color blooms beneath his skin like he's been alive for decades instead of centuries. He responds with a rough voice full of wonder: “I feel...everything. The hunger. The warmth. My heart's actually beating harder than it should be, like a real heartbeat.”
He turns back to her, eyes dark and searching. “I can feel you in my chest. Like a second heartbeat. It's not painful- it's like you’re wired into me now.” Stefan steps further into the room, arms crossed: “This is unprecedented. A vampire-human hybrid bond through blood magic. Bonnie needs to document this immediately.”
Evie asks: “Has she found anything else out about me or if there’s been anyone like me before? It would be very helpful to know what to expect and to avoid. It's now apparent that Damon and I are basically unbreakable now. Lets hope we don’t want to kill each other in the future.” She jokes with a giggle and a smile while she winks at Damon.
Damon catches her wink, a smirk playing at his lips despite the gravity of the situation. “Kill each other? Sweetheart, if I wanted you dead, you’d already be dead. Besides..” He moves closer, his newly warm hand brushing her cheek. “I'm too busy being terrified of losing you to waste time killing you.”
Stefan pulls out his phone, already texting to find out, just as room service arrives. Damon lets them in and starts to set up the table. When the text is returned, Stefan says: “Bonnie’s running through the historical archives. She said there are references to something called Soul-bound Pairings in old witch texts, but they’re rare. Very rare.”
Stephan continues trying to avoid the tension in the room from rising. “Bonnie will be here in two hours. We need answers before Klaus figures out what's happened.” Evie asks, “Will this change the magic she put on me? I guess we should have thought a bit more about what might happen. We were just acting on instinct and feelings. I hope we didn’t f**k things up.”
