Chapter 6

Lukas

Mason asked me to move back which after a lot of discussion I finally did. Things have been a little awkward between Mason and me but I understand, he is still trying to understand his feelings for me. It's been 2 weeks since Mason and I last spoke, he is usually at work and when he is at home he keeps himself busy by sleeping most of the time. I on the other hand have started handling most of the things in the clinic since the doc is planning on going for a holiday after many years. I am also okay giving Mason his space.

Mason

I don't understand what the f**k is going on but whenever I try to focus all I can think of is Lukas. It's been 2 weeks and I can't figure what to do. After Lukas and I touched each other I could not stop dreaming about it, I know I am not gay but why does everything feel so strange around him. I told Lukas I needed space and I was not ready to try anything, I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard someone knock. Sherry was at the door, she wore a short black skirt with a white button up blouse, she had left the top three buttons open which left very little for my imagination. "Hey handsome" she said and put her hand on my bear chest. "Make I come in" she asked and I nodded. As I closed the door she closed the distance between us saying "let's continue where we left the last time" and with that she smashed her lips on mine. I did not react for second, but then I thought let mr try it to see if, I am straight or not. I kissed her back and deepen the kiss, she wrapped her arms around me and I carried her up to my room. As soon as we entered I unbuttoned her blouse and in an instant her blouse and skirt hit the floor along with my shorts. She pushed me on the bed and climbed over me. Seductively she unclasped her bra and removed her silk panty throwing it in the heap that was already on the floor. She started kissing me down to my jaw, neck and chest. I flipped her down so that I was in control and sucked her right n****e while I pulled and pinched her left n****e. "Ahhh Mason" she moaned and for some reason I felt like throwing up. I covered her mouth with my hand because I did not want to hear her moans and quickly tore the condom packet with my teeth, trying to slide it on my large p***s which was not very hard was a task but I managed somehow, I slipped inside her almost too easily and started pumping her. She begged to be on top so she could ride me and I agreed. I flipped us over and she started moving her hips slowly. I was feeling totally not interested for some reason, until I heard Lukas call me while walking in the room."Oh s**t".. I whisper yelled. I quickly shoved Sherry off me and started putting my clothes on, I felt like an ass but I needed to understand what was my preference. "Sherry put on your clothes and leave" I said, "But why baby, we were having fun" she said and I wanted to just thrown her out of my house. I walked out and banged the door, I ran downstairs but I could not find Lukas anywhere. "s**t I did it again" I cursed.

Lukas

I thought of easing things up between Mason and me, since I did not have many patients I left early hoping that Mason and I could maybe watch a movie together just to break the ice. I entered the house and everything was pretty dark so I walked up to Mason's room to check if he was home. I called out to him before entering the room and I wished I had stayed at the clinic for a little longer. The chick who was with Mason at the bar 2 weeks ago was now in his room on top of him naked and riding him. "f**k, sorry" I said while closing the door and walking back down. I thought Mason was thinking of giving was a chance, but I guess I was wrong, why did I not realise that he would never be interested in men. I decided to go out for walk hoping to relax my racing heart. 

After spending almost 2 hours crying my eyes out in some stupid corner, I decided to go home, it was already dark so I was hoping Mason was already asleep and would not see me in this miserable condition. I entered and noticed Mason was not around, so I slowly walked to my room and slept off. 

The next morning when I woke up I saw Mason sitting on the chair opposite my bed. "Uhhh .. hi" I said and he did not answer "do you need something" I spoke again but this time he just walked towards me not breaking eye contact. I felt my heart beat go up to a million miles an hour ... 

Mason

I waited for Sherry to leave and tried calling Lukas but he did not answer, so I locked out of the door and drove around town searching for Lukas, I could not find him anywhere, after searching and trying to call him for around 3 hours I decided to head back home, I noticed the kitchen light was on which meant he came back. I quickly walked over to his room and saw him sleeping. I decided to leave when I heard him whimper, he was asking someone to leave him alone and as I touched his head he stopped and went back to sleep. I decided to ask him the next morning. I sat on the chair in his room and waited for him to wake up. "Uhhh .. hi" he said and I did not answer "do you need something" he spoke again but this time I just walked towards him not breaking eye contact.

He sat up in bed trying to move but I put my hands on either side of his face holding him in place, then slowly I came closer to his face our breathes fanning each other, our breathing quickening. "May .. I .. uhhh .. kiss you" I asked him and saw his lips part slightly his eyes close and I took that as a yes before brushing our lips together, at first it was soft and gentle but I decided to deepen it, I waited for the sick feeling to come when I kissed Sherry but it did not. After what felt like a decade we broke apart, still breathing heavily trying to stabilise our breathing. A silence fell between us before Lukas's stomach decided to let out a loud growl followed by my own. We both chuckled and realised we had not eaten anything last night. "Get dressed, I will start making breakfast' I said while walking out of his room.

Lukas and I were eating when I decided to break the silence "uhh listen Lukas, I am.. uhh.. sorry about yesterday and I ...uhhh" Lukas interrupts by saying "Mason you don't have to apologise for anything, I understand and I think it's best I move out. I thought about it and I understand that your confused because we are best friends and trust me when I say I never wanted to fall for my best friend or try to destroy our friendship. It's important that we go back to our lives and just forget about all of this." I swear at that moment I saw hurt flash in eyes but it was gone the next second. "I understand what you're saying and if you think it will help making things less awkward then okay" I said while getting up to wash the dishes. Lukas sat in silence for a while then said "I will move my things tomorrow". And where will you be staying, I asked but all he said was outside the town. I felt hurt that he did not want me to know but I did not want to show him the effect he was having on me.
