Chapter 84 -Heavy

Jadea Clothes went flying. Before I knew it, I was lying on the bed, stuck between their chests, both of them buried inside me. Like we had been after our first joining together. Both needed the comfort and intimacy of my body. To be thusly connected. Having me here safely between them was more calming than anything else could be. "Tonight was a disaster," Caden grumbled against my shoulder, his hands running lazy patterns over my thigh and hip. My back was to his front. "It definitely exposed our weaknesses," I mused gently, not wanting to incite either of their ires tonight. We were all still raw from what happened. My gaze flickered up to Adam's, on arm languidly curved over his waist, my fingertips trialing lazy patterns across his spine. There was a tick to his jaw, expression hard. He knew what his reaction cost. Understood he was part of the reason my pack hadn't been able to get to me. He was upset with himself. "I don't want you going up against Keb in a head-to-head fight again," Adam stated seriously. A deep sigh escaped my chest, knowing I wouldn't be able to make that promise. And, honestly, it was an unfair request. "While I may not intend to fight him directly, we all know I'm his target. I won't be able to avoid him and we don't know where or when he will strike next." In Adam's pinched expression, he understood what I was saying, but didn't like it. "You cannot be alone ever until he is caught," Adam's wolf growled. Before I could get in a word, Caden was agreeing with Adam. "There's safety in numbers." I knew there were. "We need to work on your leadership under pressure. Especially if I am involved and incapacitated," I stated gently, my words mainly directed at Adam. Just like tonight, he was next in the hierarchy of our pack dynamic. His responses and actions would dominate over anyone else. If he would have been able to stay calmer, more level headed tonight, they might have been able to rescue me. We were lucky Silas had been near by. "You were in danger—" Adam started defensively. "I will always be in danger," I cut off. "You need to learn how to set those emotions aside when it is absolutely necessary. It could save lives. But," I relented, my tone gentling, "That isn't something we have to discuss right now." "Do you think she'll let us go home?" Adam asked after a few heavy moments. "Yes." I did believe Constance would let us go home. It had been an option from the beginning, other than this last handful of days, when she wanted to see if she could narrow down who the mole in her ranks could be. I felt Caden's deep-rooted sorrow infiltrate my mind because that meant he had to return to the Draconian pack. Our time would turn limited. "We will figure out a schedule," I assured him, reaching back to caress his thigh, my face turning into his. I wasn't about to abandon him. "I'm about to pull some of my strongest wolves and beg Ty to let us camp out on his lands until Keb is apprehended or killed," Caden grumbled. "You need to—" "I can't be there for them if you are in danger," he snapped fiercely. "I'll be moody to boot and that won't be healthy for anyone," he grumbled, voice softening as he settled back down. Sighing, I relented. "We can talk more after we hear from Constance." "You won't give Silas asylum," Adam's command was barely a whisper. I shook my head. "I'll take him to Constance and let her figure out what to do with him and his pack." There was no way I would be able to rehabilitate his pack and remain unbiased. Plus, I refused to give him such intimate access to me again. Things were getting too heavy and serious. I didn't want to dwell on this anymore. Playing dirty, I used our connection to spice things up, dragging them into wild and hot fantasies. Due to my position, I couldn't do much else. Caden responded first, ready to lose himself in me. His arm wound around my hip, fingers playing with my c**t. His teeth nibbling the slope of my neck as I pulled Adam's mouth to mine, devouring him. "Are you ready kitten?" "Yes," I panted when Adam's mouth and hands dipped to my breasts. "Roll over, on top of him," Caden ordered smoothly. When I was seated, hands splayed over Adam's chest for support, Caden knelt behind me, slipping back inside me. With both of them filling me completely... It was euphoric. I loved the feeling of being so full. Of having them so deeply buried inside me. Adam's grip spammed on my waist as he drowned in the pleasureful sensations coursing through our shared bond. Caden's hiss of approval when he was fully seated had my juices flowing. We didn't last long. While they started rocking slowly, intending to prolong this experience, we were all so emotionally jagged, we needed the explosive joining. There was no going slow. We frantically came together, and fell apart, our cries and moans echoing gloriously, helping to chase away the remnants of fear from earlier. Falling into a heap of limbs and bodies, we settled under the blankets and fell asleep.
