The Rest of Summer

We spent the rest of Summer doing typical teenage things. We made some new friends at camp that year. As summer continued we saw Jon more and more.

That Summer went to a theme park and a couple of camping trips. When went to the theme park we camped out at a near by campground.

The friends that we made that Summer had started coming to Faith's father's church some. They were invited to go on the trip with us.

We stayed up late playing pool at the parks clubhouse and catching up. It was a night of fun and laughter. The next morning we would get up early and spend the day riding rollercoaster and having so much fun.

As summer came to an end Jon began talking about moving closer. He had graduated from high school and didn't like the driving every weekend to see Faith. They were completely smitten.

They were still carrying a secret that not even I knew yet.

Faith had became suspicious of some of our new friends and their intentions toward Jon. She had walked up a few times to find them talking to Jon only to have the conversation stop when she walked up.
