Hey guys authors note here, I am asking everyone to be patient. Im getting messages about the next chapter, I am trying to do one a week but right now I am struggling with my health but I promise I will finish this book. Maybe a little quicker than I had wanted but soon.
The two sides of a hybrids conflicting nature made for one hell of a creature. With natural instincts of a wolf and the ferocity of a demon, they could do amazing things. Since wolves mating demons were so rare the community did not know what to expect of the offspring, but they are learning.
1. Hybrids are faster
2. Hybrids are stronger
It was never a secrete that dad and auntie K are crazy strong but for the first time I put Brian down during training, I am so excited I think all hybrids are stronger than normal wolves.
Welp my theory is right about out strength, today Bently got mad and threw a toy mom caught it but he threw it so hard she broke her hand. Dad was so mad and confused, he shouldnt be this strong at 7.
3. Eyes can shift from human color, to wolf, to demon
4. Hybrids are able to find their mates before they turn 18.
I found my mate today, only a few months after my 16th birthday. Loclyn, he is incredible, strong like a warrior but not a d**k like most of the young ones. He has always been so nice to me, he has the most perfect short curly blonde hair and soft brown eyes the color of my skin. He didnt recognize me as his mate, probably because his wolf is not quite mature enough yet so I will wait.
Brianna froze peeking up from her notebook to make sure the boys were still sleeping before she returned to her scribbling. Her secrete note book she had only ever shown to Octavia, she started it a couple years ago to keep important information and it was also her diary. She had a secrete, she had already found her mate but he was only seventeen, one year older than her. None of her hybrid family had found their soulmate before they turned eighteen, she was the first. But the boy being a wolf did not yet recognize her as his mate yet. She wanted to tell him and her family but she knew now was not the time. She tucked the small book back into her pocket before getting up to stretch her sore muscles.
"Okay boys time to wake up!" she nugged each of the sleeping wolves, stirring them both awake. "We are leaving in five minutes" she stated. The boy hurriedly stretched and gathered anything loose from their packs and the three set back on their course.
"So do we know where were actually going?" Ezira mind linked the two as they ran.
"She said to the east lies a castle shrouded in a fog, long forgotten to this world it ca-"
"Cant be found when you are looking for it, but when you are feeling for it. Not of this world, but from a distant one. Enemy of the crown, traitor to his kind. Those who enter out of malice will be their own downfall." Brianna cut Kerian off finishing what he was going to say, they all stop in their tracks.
"How do you know that?"
"Its from a old tale grandpa used to tell us when we were kids, don't you remember?"
"Yeah." The cousins made eye contact for a moment before turning to Ezira.
"Why are you two looking at me like that?" He questioned.
"Just shift back and we will explain."
Bones snapped and fur disappeared as the three returned to human form and quickly redressed from the clothes in their packs.
"So start explaining" Kerian and Brianna looked to each other, neither wanting to start talking. After a moment of silence and a deep breath Kerian spoke.
"About the castle its in the demonic realm." The words poured out of his mouth as quick as possible.
"Well s**t how am I supposed to go with you then?!" He gasped, his wolf feeling more on edge than before. Brianna pulled a knife from her pocket and slid it across her palm, making dark red thick blood drip to the dirt.
"Hurry up and drink it before I heal, I really dont want to cut myself a hundred times."
Ezira looked to Kerian with nothing but confusion.
"You can only get in the demonic realm if you have demon blood in your system." Without a second thought he put Brianna's bleeding hand to his mouth, drinking as much of the metallic tasting substance as he could.
"Alright lets go."
