Cold and broken Octavia layed on the stone ground, unmoving but not asleep. Her sad eyes stared into the damp concrete wall, her ears unable to hear the soft drip on a droplet into a puddle near her feet. She didn't know how long it had been since she saw her mother, she could still smell the sweet scent of honeysuckle that danced on her beautiful hair. Her father, even though his arms were strong being in his arms made her feel safe and loved. She couldn't bear to let herself think of Kerian, her twin brother. They may have had plenty of arguments but he was her best friend and she loved him more than anyone in the world.
Her body tensed as footsteps approached, tears threatened to spill from her eyes when the lock to the room clicked open. She tried to smell who entered the room but all the could smell was her own dried blood and body odor.
"Hey im here to help" The soft voice called to her.

"My mom Luna left" Keelin announced to everyone around the table, no one seemed to surprised at the news. "She has a lead but wants to check it out first."
"So for now my dad, Onyx, and Kade will go to the tree I was found at to see if they can find anything. I am going to make some calls." Everyone got up to do their selective work, Izzy made her way to the kitchen to make Keelin some food.
Keelin was standing outside the large oak door she did so many times as a child, but this time instead of knocking she took a breath and stepped inside the room. She could see it was untouched as a layer of dust covered everything in the room.
Her wolf whimpered, "I know I miss him too" she thought. It had been almost eighteen years since she watched her father be decapitated, since she took her wrath out of her uncle for everything he had done to the people she loved and cared for. His scent no longer lingered in the air, she walked along the mantle smiling at the photos of her family years ago. She placed herself in her lost fathers desk and started dialing, she checked in with her son first since she was to far to mindlink him. His voice was full of anguish.
"Luis told your dad how hard you have been training, I am so proud of you." Her heart ached at the pain in her sons voice.
"I am doing it for her mom, anyway since you and dad are gone I have work to do."
"Okay, I love you Kerian."
"Love you too mom." She hung up and continued her phone calls, over the years she has made connections all over the world and under in her time as Queen.
So focused on her work she didn't hear Izzy slip in. "I brought you something to eat."
"Not hungry."
"Kee you have to eat." Izzy said with a firm voice.
"I said i'm not hungry I have work to get done." Keelin had an annoyance in her tone.
Izzy pushed Keelins chair away from the desk with her foot.
"What the f**k Izzy?! I need to get this done so I can find my daughter!" Keelins eyes were flashing between her green and her wolf's white.
"Okay then tell me how the hell will you be strong enough to fight for her when the time comes if you starve yourself?" Izzy raised her voice to match Keelins, they had become like sisters over the years so Izzy was not afraid to be blunt.
"You are right." Keelin held her hand out for the plate with slumped shoulders. "It's just hard, she is my daughter and I am supposed to protect her. We don't know who took her or why, it is a constant war in my head between my wolf wanting to find and protect her and my demon side wanting to literally burn the earth in search. My fangs cry out for blood and revenge and I know they both want to find her but im being torn trying to decide what is the best way to do it."
"Keelin look at me" Keelins eyes met Izzys. "There is nothing that can stop us from finding her, I wasn't going to say anything but I have reached out to my parents to see if they can find anything. I wanted to know before I told you and I know your dad is using his resources as well."
"thank you Iz" Keelin spoke while taking a bite of her sandwich. The two flipped through some old photo albums in Brian's desk while they ate.
"Hey whats that?" Izzy said pointing to a baby photo of Keelin.
"A picture of me?" Keelin stated confused.
"No not the picture it looks like something in stuffed behind it." She carefully took the piece of paper out from behind the photo, she had a pit in her stomach while reading the old note.
"I need to speak to both of my moms NOW." Keelin sprinted down the hall to her mother Annie's room.
