During Business Meeting
“Based on our analysis, Sir Gio, our sales values were posted positively due to our price increase last month, which also affected the sales quantity Sir, that is why it declined.” -Staff
“I see. But what is the reason why the growth in sales value and sales quantity are not both positive?” – Gio
“It happened, sir, that last year we didn’t have a problem with our supplies because we had enough stock and lots of quantity sold last year compared to this year.” – Staff
“Then what will be your action plan so it will not happen again? You already know the problem, then you should propose something to prevent the decline in the following months”. – Gio
“Yes Sir Gio, my team and I are already working on it. We will be sending you the proposal as soon as possible”. - Staff
“Well that’s good to hear, but I need to see it on Monday” – Gio

“Okay. Let us end this meeting. I hope next month our sales will be good.” - Gio
After their meeting, Gio went back to his office to sign some paperwork. It was lunch then when his secretary knocked on his door.
“Yes albert. Come in” – Gio
“Good afternoon Sir, your grandmother brought this for you” – Albert
“Where is she?” - Gio
“Ah Sir Gio, she has left already. You were in at a meeting. When she passed by she told me that she couldn’t wait for you since she was going to meet her friend.” – Albert
“Okay, Albert. Thank you. Please take your lunch too” – Gio
“Yes Sir. Thank you”. – Albert
Gio just nodded his head and smiled at Albert before Albert left.
Then his phone rang.
“Hello Lola?” (Lola means Grandmother) – Gio
“Hi, Apo! Have you eaten your lunch already? I gave it to Albert” – Lola Melanie
“Yes Lola, thank you so much you are really sweet.” – Gio
“Of course Apo! You are my one and only grandson that I have.” – Lola Melanie
“Love you Lola, I will bring you something when we meet. What do you want?” –Gio
“No, nothing. I just miss you. You haven’t gone home to our house, you are always in your condo” – Gio
“I’m so sorry Lola. I've just been busy the past few days and you know my condo is near to my office, right” – Gio
“Yeah, I understand but, promise me that you will be at home later for dinner. Your mother will be cooking for us and you know that they will be leaving the next day, right? So please be present. Okay!” – Lola Melanie
“Sure, Lola, I will be there, I promise.” – Gio
“That is good to hear. Goodbye Apo see you tomorrow.” – Lola Melanie

And they end their call.
It was 4:30 in the afternoon when he left his office to buy some cookies at Sam-sam-Eat Bakeshop, his sister and grandmother's favorite food.
“Hi Miss, can I order 2 boxes of these cookies please?” – Gio
“ Hi Sir. Good afternoon. Sure its 500 pesos Sir”- Cashier
Gio, give his payment to the cashier.
“Here” – Gio
“I received the exact amount here is your receipt. Thank you please wait for your order Sir!” – Cashier
Gio stepped to the other side of the counter to wait for his order.
“Hey, Dianne! Make sure you always have a display of cookies. It looks like you are running out of stock already” – Sam
“Will do that Ma’am sorry” – Dianne (Cashier)
“Here are your cookies Sir. Thank you! Please come again!” – Cashier
Then Gio left after receiving his order.
At Marquez Residence
“Wow, Mom! The food is great” – Alex ( Gio’s sister)
“Of course, Alex, that is your mother's specialty, right love?” – Reymond (Gio’s father)
“You two are my fans haha come on just eat guys” – Melissa (Gio’s Mother)
“By the way, Son, how is the business?” – Reymond
“Everything is fine dad, though there are declines in some categories, but I can handle it. Don’t worry” – Gio
“That is good to hear. I know you are doing your best son. I’m so proud of you” – Reymond
“Thank you dad!” – Gio
“Oh wait! What is that Kuya Gio? Did you bring it?” – Alex (Kuya means Brother)
“These cookies? Ah yes, it’s your favorite, right? I bought it for you and Lola” – Gio
“I have also? Thanks, apo” – Lola Melanie
“Yey! Love you Kuya” – Alex
“Mom, I know you are not a fan of sweets, so I bought 2 boxes only” – Gio
“I share it with mommy Kuya” – Alex

Alex gave a small portion of cookies to her mother, then Melissa ate them.
“How was it Mom, tasty right?” – Alex
“Am I sounding OA but yeah! Where did you buy it Son?” –Melissa
“I told you” – Alex
“In the bakeshop near to my office, mom, I will buy 3 boxes next time, since it seems you like the cookies also” – Gio
“Let us go there sometime mom, maybe you would like other pastries there too.” – Alex
