Chapter four The Pack

The next morning, Kate woke up to James in the kitchen cooking breakfast. “It smells amazing in here.” James looks at Kate and asks if she’s hungry. “Of course, I’m hungry, especially after last night.” She said with a smile and a giggle. Kate just sat there smiling and watching James cook.

As they were eating James looked at Kate, remembering there was something else he needed to tell her about the wolf bond but wasn’t sure how to tell her, I guess by just getting it out. “Kate there is something else I needed to tell you about the wolf bond, but I don’t want you too be mad when I tell you. I just remembered, and it’s something you probably needed to know before last night.” James said nervously. “What is it, the sound in your voice is making me really nervous.” James just sat there trying to find the right way to tell her this, he ended up spacing out.

“James James JAMES” Kate said loudly. “Sorry, I’m not sure how to tell you this but, when an alpha male wolf finds his mate, and they have s*x, they become attached to each other. If one gets hurt, the other feels their pain. It’s pretty much like a marriage contract in away.”

Kate froze, she wasn’t sure what to say. “I’m not angry, yes it would have been nice to know that yesterday.” she tells him in a calm voice. “But I wanted to be yours forever before we slept together. So in the end, I’m okay with this.” Kate says with a big smile on her face. James smiles, “yeah I felt the same way before we did too, when you are around you make my feel complete.”

She leaded in and kissed him from his lips down his neck back up to his lips. She stopped and smiled at him. He grabs Kate kissing her, he picks her up walking her to the couch without stopping he strips them both and slowly and nicely slides into her thrusting harder and harder into her, as they both moan louder and louder as they both finish. He flips her over and continues as Kate is screaming with relief, as she is moaning louder he thrust harder into her. As it builds and builds to the point she couldn’t take it anymore, she let it all go, her body trembling.

James climbed off of Kate, picks her up and sets her on his lap. He takes his hand to her face pulling it closer to him, kissing her lips ever so softly.

Kate gets up and says “I’m going to take a shower, if you would like to join me.” James looks at her and smiled “I would love to join you, but I need to get back to my pack.” Kate shocked, she didn’t know there was a wolf pack in Holly. She then asked “can I come with you, I didn’t know there was a wolf pack here, and I’d love to meet them.” James wasn’t sure what to say. He was surprised she even wanted to come with him. He looks at her, “I’d love for you to come, let’s go take that shower”.

They went back to the park and started making their way into the thick woods, the farther they got into the woods Kate started to get nervous, the last time she was in these woods she was almost killed by an animal when she was younger. James could feel her tension and took his arm and r***d it around her. She instantly started to feel better, she felt safe at that moment. They got closer to a huge clearing in the middle of the woods, there was at lest fifty people standing around waiting for something.

As they got closer to the group of people a younger boy ran up, Alpha James you're here we’ve been waiting. He had to be around fifteen year old. James looked at Kate with a smile and told me he was the youngest one in the pack. “David, I’d like you to meet Kate” David looked at James, “is she your mate Alpha” David asked. “She is” James replied. “She is beautiful, David said.” Kate blushed. “She is very beautiful” James said with a big smile. They walked up to everyone else.

James cleared his throat, “everyone” he said. No one was listening. He whistles. “Wolves” they all stop and look at him. I have something to tell you all, so listen up. I’d like you to meet my Mate, Katelynn. They all looked at Kate and howled with joy, our alpha found his mate, they yelled. There were a few of the female wolves that didn’t, they seemed angry or even jealous. James grabs Kate's hand, guiding her through the pack, so she can meet everyone.

One of the male wolves came up to them, “James I need to talk to you, it’s important.” James looked at him and told him, “in a moment. Kate, I’d like you to meet Jacob my beta” Kate shook his hand “it’s nice to meet you Jacob. James, I have no idea what beta even means.” Jacob laughed, “beta means I’m second in command. If anything happens to James, or he can’t be here, I get to lead the pack. Now with you being his mate, it makes you the female alpha wolf. So when neither of you are around, I become second in command. “Is there anyone else that has a title like you two?” Kate asked. “There is only one other person who does and that is David”. Said James. He is the omega. Which means he is the smallest and youngest one of us. Said Jacob.

“We need to talk now.” Jacob said to James. James looked at Kate, “I’ll be right back”. He walked away. An older woman came up to Kate. “Hello Katelynn, my name is Luna Griffin, I’m James mother”. Kate was nervous now. “Hello Mrs. Griffin, it’s nice to meet you, but I go by Kate.” Oh child, call me Luna, you are family now. I’m overjoyed to see my son so happy. Let’s take a walk and talk” Luna said to Kate.
