Chapter 2

She ran outside crying, then, called a cab " cab"!

She was going home. Of course she needed to keep quiet because she knew what was involved, her friends would definitely make jerks of her if they eventually found out what happened between her and Alessio.

She controlled her emotions in a good way that nobody even noticed or suspected something like that had occurred, " boom" Boom. She banged open the door to her room .

Sitting on her bed with tears rolling down her cheeks, she remembers the envelope then, recalling having put it in her purse.

She grabbed her purse immediately with her left hand. She zipped it open and turned it upside down, purring out some women's accessories like lipstick before the envelope finally fell off.

She picked up the envelope and flipped through it. Inside of it was a cheque and a written note that said " call me ". She read aloud and wondered why Alessio would leave a written note asking her to call him with no sign of a number at all.

She looked through the back of the note again and found nothing still. "joker" she said, and threw away the envelope angrily without checking it very well, ". Everything fell to the floor.

Just then, something fell off but she seemed not interested in figuring out what it was. She dozed off, leaving her room open , carelessly.

Mistakenly, one of her friends walked into the room , she saw the floor was messed up. " disgusting ",she said. She nodded her head, keeping an irritating face like she had never messed up a floor before.

She was just about to leave when her eyes glanced at the piece of paper on the floor and she picked it up, then read it "call me". Immediately, she covered her mouth "huh" before she realized she had almost woken her

It was still dark in the morning when Nicole left the house before anybody could wake up, "Oli, where is Nicole?" Amanda asked.

Amanda was Olivia's cousin. They met last year and because of conditions Amanda was forced to join the company.

Amanda knew Oli and Nicole were quite close. That was why she was asking " I haven't seen her this morning, I was just about asking you too." Oli said, " is that so,I'll go look for her then"."Wait I'll join you, she's also my friend. " and they left ."

Who gave you this note? Where is Bella, Alessio asked? "Sir, she sent me instead because she didn't like you", Nicole said. Alessio smiled and turned away.

Nicole wasn't smart enough to notice that Alessio understood she was jealous of Oli and had come there unaware to manipulate him. "Smiles"

Alessio, understanding the situation, just smirked and asked Nicole "what is it I can do for you?" Nicole answered and said "I don't know, what do you want to do?" "Hahaha" he smiled.

"Bernando' Alessio calls ."Yes Boss" Bernando answered. He took Nicole to the location". He had already told Bernando to take Nicole back to her apartment.

Alessio followed Nicole downstairs without replying to her questions "where are we going ". He ignored her again and walked her to the car. Surprisingly, she saw Alessio's assistant, Bernando.

On their way, Nicole asked Bernando "what happened on the day Oli went to see Alessio. "I was away on an errand. I came back and met her shouting. I didn't really know what happened, though I only asked her to keep them calm. Why do you ask?"

"She wasn't really fascinated by the time they spent together, at least that was what I noticed when she returned to the apartment, but it's okay. I was just asking"

Oli and Amanda stood at the corner of the apartment waiting for a cab to come pick them up. They've been standing for over an hour now but hadn't seen an empty cab.

" cab" they called anxiously "gosh again.. " they said in unison.

like a cat on a hot tin roof, they were ill at ease. They got more and more worried, wondering where Nicole might be. "Voom" a car stopped right in their front. Unknown to Bernando, he almost hit Amanda.

"Amanda", Oli screamed and rushed to help Amanda stand back on her feet. She thought Amanda must have been injured somewhere so she held her close and kept looking all around Amanda's body to see if she had blood rushing out from somewhere.

Nicole stepped out of the car. " are you alright Amanda". Immediately they raised their heads at once, turning to see who it was. Unfortunately, it was Nicole. " Huh" they were shocked at Nicole's appearance at first before asking her where she had been. "I'm okay." "Where have you been since morning?" they asked in unison, but she kept quiet and didn't answer their question.

Oli wondered why Nicole would be in a car that almost killed Amanda." Why are you in that car? " she asked Nicole. Bernando was just about moving his car when I glanced at him. "who is he?" She asked Nicole and turned again to take a pretty look at him. His face looks very familiar", she thought.

She wanted to look at him again but this time Bernando had already driven off. She walked to the middle of the road so as to see the car very well-"4242AA". Oli recognized this was the same car that took her home on the day she spent the night at Alessio's house.

"That monster" she couldn't help it. She ran inside immediately crying "oli ". Amanda called "what is wrong with her? Nicole asked, pretending not to know anything, " not we both here together. Have you forgotten?" And Amanda ran after her.

"Oli dear, are you okay? What's wrong?" Oli was already packing her luggage. At this point, she knew her stay had already expired. " I am leaving", she finally replied. Why to where? Why now"? I had already thought about it for a long time now, but wasn't sure about it yet. That way I was unable to tell anybody.
