New starts are not easy

Andy smiled her friend  with a smile that did not quite reach her eyes  she had a million thoughts going through her head , its not that she did not like Dustin it was that she was worried about Taylor still. even though he defenitly was not the best boyfriend material and he still had not even told her that he loved her she knew that he was the one that she was supposed to be with, but she could not  just wait forever and she did really like him she was just not sure how she was going to compleatly move on from him quite yet. " hey anyone home And? you ok?" Andy gave herself a small shake and tried to look a little more convincing with her smile. " yea he's great , we had fun last night I  really do like him, its just " she paused listening to see if she heard the boys moving around in the next room or not she really did not want them to hear this conversation . "it's just what ? " Ashely roller her eyes in exasperation " ohhh , i get it now ," she stuck her head into the living room quickly before rummaging in one of the kitchen drawers and pulling out a piece of paper and a pen she wrote a quick note to the boys letting them know they would be right back and grabbed Andy's hand pulling her out of the apartment. 

"     Ash where the heck do you think we are going ? we both have bed head and you have mascara under your eyes i am sure I dont look much better" Ashley continued down the hall towards the front door of the apartment building . " come on And we need to talk and I am sure that you do not want Dustin hear that the whole reason you are still kind of mopping i because you are worried about Tay, COME ON Andy! you seriously need to stop letting him treat you like a doormat , Dustin is your chance to show him that other guys actually want you and you are not going to just wait around for whenever Taylor feels like acting like he is your boyfriend, plus Dustin is hot and seems to be super sweet, and I dunno And I always feel like Tay is hiding stuff from us , why is he always meeting us late in the day? why does it always seem like last minute that he decides to come? and why the heck does he not have a job or anything he has told us about but he seems to have money? Ashely was out of breath after her mini speech and the girls had reached the cafe, " Seriously And actually think about this, you should seriously give Dustin a chance , I really think he will be good for you, Ok?" Ashley asked giving Andy a pointed look before heading into the cafe. 

    Andy just stood at the door for a minute kind of taken aback by Ashely's speech she knew her friend was right about a lot of what she had said. Andy could not help herself and pulled out her phone to see if Taylor had even seen her message from last night , once she opened the app her heart sank, the message still said undelivered so Taylor either still had his phone off or he had actually blocked her. Andy swallowed her dissappointment and sent a quick text to Dustin 

Andy: Hey :) good morning , Ash and i are just grabbing some coffee and breakfast for you guys , don't leave :) see you soon ok?

a minute later her phone dinged , OMG did he actually text me back?

Dustin: Morning babe, no problem obviously I am not going to leave before saying goodbye , see you in a little bit .

Andy was instantly happy and a smile lite up her face as she walked into the cafe . she spotted Ashley looking at the menu board and grinned even bigger before practiaclly running to her friend in her excitment. " ok you win, i will give Dustin a chance "
