The new boy

 "No your right, let’s go" Andy replied as  they both claimed out of the car and walked quickly into the mall to get away from the brisk autumn air, California was not considered a cold state but this year definitely seemed colder than normal , especially for it only being the beginning of October. as they entered the mall the smell of Cinnabon immediately made Andy's mouth water , "yummy , I am definitely getting one, forget the diet this day is not the day to be obsessed with what I am eating , I don't even care at this point"  Andy stated, "Ummu are you sure And? the last time you went and ate a bunch of junk you were obsessed with counting every calorie that went into your mouth for weeks. Remember?" Ashely asked watching her friend out of the corner of her eye. " Yes Ash, really, I am good, I just really want to get a Cinnabon, I haven't had one in forever. " Andy replied with a laugh. she knew there was definitely a possibility of regretting this decision later but at the moment all she wanted to do was enjoy some sticky delicious food and not think about incredibly stupid boys. "Hey Ash, let’s go to Sephora, I really want to look at the new Natasha Denona Pallet, plus makeup always puts me in a good mood" said Andy feeling a little better now that they were at the mall. "ok let’s go then" Ashely replied before heading towards the escalator which would take them to the upper level where all the fun stores were. " I also want to go to Victoria Secret" Ashley called over her shoulder at Andy, "And, And, ANDY!" Ashley shouted at her friend; Andy seemed to be completely spaced out staring across the food court. Ashely jogged back down the escalator and followed Andy’s line of sight to see what her friend was so distracted by. 

     "Dude, who the hell is that?" Andy whisper yelled at her friend as they both stared at the incredibly hot group of guys standing in line at Panda Express , Ashley’s face immediately lite up at the site of her longtime boyfriend Matt, she recognized his friends Garett and Zach but had no idea who the forth guy was ."I don’t know And , but let’s go find out !" Ashley excited grabbed Andy's arm and started dragging her towards to group of boys. "AAshley WAIT" Andy hissed as Ashley tugged her towards the boys. Luckily the group of boys had not seen the girls yet, "what Andy he's cute and you need a distraction" Ashley snapped. "yea, I know but I look like. crap at the moment, let’s go to Sephora first and then find the boys, you know they are probably going to the arcade or GameStop," Andy explained. Ashley looked over her friend , Andy did not look her best but she definitely did not look like crap, her curly blonde hair was adorable as usual , she had an awesome outfit on the only thing Ashley could put her finger one were the dark circles and that her friend looked a little paler then normal. "alright And, let’s go but you look amazing as usual, really and you need to have more confidence in your looks and you definitely do not look like crap." Ashley stated sternly. Andy smiled gratefully " thank you Ash , promise we won't take too long, I just want to look at that pallet and get some concealer , the stuff I have been using ran out and my dark circles definitely need to be covered especially if we are going to be around cute boys " Andy said with a wink. 

    Ashley and Andy headed back up the escalator towards Sephora, the mall luckily was not that bust with it being fairly early in the day in the middle of the week. As the girls walked into the store they were immediately greeted by a super peppy young girl who Andy thought she  recognized from her Thursday English class at school , she could not remember the girls name but smiled at her anyways " Hi Andy! how are you ?" the Sephora employee greeted , "good , how are you? I didn't know that you worked here." Andy said, "this is my friend Ashley, we decided we needed to ditch math class today" Andy added hoping the girl would introduce herself to Ashley so she would not have to admit she had no clue what the girls name was. "Hi Ashley, I am Megan I have English class with Andy" Megan happily introduced herself. "Hi Megan, nice to meet you, I love your eyeshadow, it really makes your eyes pop" Ashley responded, Megan smiled happily at the compliment showing off her deep dimples in both cheeks as she pushed her short bob behind her ears. "thanks, I love to do makeup this is the perfect place for me, I get to play with makeup all day the only bad part is that I pretty much spend my whole check here" she said with a laugh.  just then Andy had the perfect idea, "Hey Megan, I have a favor for you if it is possible, definitely don't worry about it if you can't though" Andy finished in a rush. she did not want to make Megan feel obligated to do a favor for her. "What are you thinking?" Megan asked her light brown eyes were curious. " so, Ashely wants to meet up with her boyfriend. and his friends , but honestly I feel like I look awful,  and since you are so awesome at makeup I was wondering if you could help color match me for a foundation  and show me the new Natasha Denona pallet , maybe help me with an eye look with it." Andy responded cautiously. she didn't want Megan to think that she was taking advantage of her friendliness.

    "Sure, I would love too! that sounds like. so much fun actually, it’s pretty slow today so I defiantly have time to do that for you" Megan said enthusiastically. Ashley had been poking around at the eyeliners and had wandered back over to Andy and Megan." so what are you guys talking about?" Ashley asked. "Megan is going to give me a mini makeover!" Andy answered excitedly, Ashley rolled her eyes. "ok And but I swear you look fine “. Andy just stuck her tongue out at Ashley in response. 

    As Andy got settled in one of the chairs in the makeup section Megan started to get some of the colors, she thought would match Andy’s pale skin, " so Andy what brands do you like the most?" Megan asked, she wanted to keep the makeup makeover as professional as she could considering she really had not had a chance to do one on a normal customer. "Umm , I really like Mac, Too Faced , and Urban Decay, really those are the brands that I use the most" Andy responded , "Ok great ! just wait here and I’ll go grab some foundations and the pallet you wanted to try out " Megan said right before turning around and running to get the stuff she needed . "hey Ashley you can grab some stuff to try too if you want, I don't mind " Megan called over her shoulder. "thank you Megan" Ashely responded as she headed over to KVD display. 

Around 30 mins later Andy had a killer eyeshadow look, they had used the Mini love palette after drooling over the Mothership VII Divine Rose Pat McGrath Palette. she also picked up Huda beauty foundation in Angel Food, and had also picked up some canceler. after everything she looked stunning, Ashely had picked up some liner and falsies, she was much more controlled when it came to makeup purchases.  "Oh my gosh Megan, thank you soooo much! I love this look!"  Andy admired herself in the mirror, her blue grey eyes looked bluer and her pale complexion looked less vampire pale and more porcelain e doll with the hint of blush that Megan added, she also loved the lip gloss. "Megan seriously thank you so much you did an amazing job." Megan smiled at Andy and Ashley, " no problem it was so much fun to actually have someone to hang out with and get to do their makeup at the same time."  Andy turned to Ashley to see where she had wondered off to and saw her impatiently standing at the door to the mall. " we will for sure have to grab lunch one of these days, text me your number and we can get together soon" she called to Megan as she headed to the door. there were a ton of people in the mall now it must have been close to lunch and Andy knew that Ashley was going to be frustrated that it had taken so long in there. "sorry Ash, I didn't mean to take so long in there "  Ashley was busy typing in to her phone but glanced up at Andy " you do look really good you know " and smiled at her friend , she knew that Andy was trying to distract herself from thinking about Taylor so she couldn't stay that annoyed at her friend. "come on I sent a text to Matt they are in the Arcade we can meet them there and then we can get something to eat”. the two girls headed towards the escalator to go back to the first floor. Andy had been having so much fun that she had not even checked her phone but she suddenly remembered why they were there figured it could not hurt to just see if Taylor had actually responded. her heart sped up as she saw that she actually had 3 messages on w******p. 

Taylor:  10:06 morning sunshine girl, 

Taylor:  10:10 I am sorry bee I just woke up

Taylor 10:25 hey, you’re busy or what I said I was sorry 

Andy felt both satisfaction and disappointment as she read the messages , she knew that Taylor had been awake and online early in the morning , but it felt good that he had been expecting her to text him back right away and she hadn't even noticed the messages until an hour and a half later, she knew that Taylor was probably getting frustrated that she had not responded right away. "oh well " Andy thought to herself that's what you get for not bothering to answer me. Andy and Ashely walked around groups of kids and older women on their way to the arcade, " ok Andy, let’s go meet the new hottie " Ashley giggled as they spotted the guys at the Resident Evil game.
