Jimin POV
As we went around campus and school, I was in seventh heaven. Hearing her talk about the school, everything from history to where everything is, was a true blessing. I would never get tired of hearing her voice, it is like music to my ears, it´s so soft and gentle. I also noticed that all the other students are turning to her if there is anything they need, it´s like they are relying on her. I can´t help to feel a bit jealous when the other students, especially the other men, are hugging her for helping them out. However, I have to remain in control of Sooho, I can´t under any circumstances, reveal that she is my mate. Sooho is aware of it. We are a specimen that is overprotective over our mate and can´t help but get jealous. In this case, it doesn´t matter what gender you are.
I get back from my thoughts when I feel the sparks going along my arm. I looked down and saw Maddie looking up at me.
"Jimin, are you OK? It looks like you are very far away." I didn´t realize that I was so caught up in my own thoughts that she must have noticed my discomfort.
"Sorry, it is just quite overwhelming. I didn´t thought the school was this big. It is a lot to take in. Don´t worry." But all I want to say is that I don´t want her to hug other men, since she is my mate. But I can´t. She surprises me by stepping infront of me and hugging me by my waist. She makes small circles on my back while she looks into my eyes.
"I know. I am sorry. I should have asked you earlier." I hug her back and rest my cheek on her head.
"Don´t worry Maddie. I will be fine. I should have read more into what kind of school this is before I applied for the transfer." I let her go, and she looks up to meet my eyes and she offers me a gentle smile, that I just can´t help but to return.
"Are you sure? We can take a small break if you want to. We won´t have any classes until tomorrow anyway. Besides, it is my task to make sure that you are OK while you are here. Don´t forget that."
"OK, a small break won´t hurt anyone."
"Cool, follow me. I will show you my own place where I go when I want to be alone." She takes my hand and drags me outside. We walk for a few minutes before we we reach a giant oak. She takes a seat underneath it and pat the spot beside her. I take my seat beside her, with a little distance, so I won´t be tempted to just hug her and kiss her, even though the temptation is strong, I will have better self-control if we have a short distance. I turned to look at her, and it hurts to see that she looks at me in disbelief.
"Maddie, what´s wrong?" Instead of giving me an answer, she scoots closer so that our arms touch and sparks is going crazy between us.
"Even though that these sparks is weird, they are soothing and I like them, weirdly enough. If you find them uncomfortable, that´s OK, but don´t keep a distance. Please." She looks up at me and it looks like she is about to cry.
"I am sorry, Maddie. I just don´t know how to handle all this. The sparks is far from uncomfortable, trust me. But I just don´t want to do things to you that might scare you away from me." I look down at her when I hear her giggle.
"You could be a vampire for all I care. You won´t scare me away, Jimin. There is more to me than you know. Trust me, I don´t know what all this is about, but I don´t want you to keep a distance."
"Haha a vampire?" I couldn´t help to laugh and hearing that Sooho joined in was even more hilarious. If this had come from someone else, we would have ripped their throats out for saying such a thing, but when it came from her mouth, it was just amusing.
"Well, how can I know? Anyway, jokes aside. Vampires doesn´t exist, it´s just a story, just like werewolves, pixies and witches. But it would have been cool if at least werewolves were real." I stopped laughing and looked at her, quite shocked to be honest.
"Werewolves? How come?"
"She has an obsession with the supernatural, especially werewolves." A girl came up to us, and from what I can smell of her, she is a werewolf, alpha blood even.
"Really?" I looked at Maddie and she nodded her head so fast that I was scared it would fall of from her body. I took my hands and stopped her from nodding so hard.
"Yes. I love werewolves. But unfortunately, they aren´t real. So I have to keep myself to adore real wolves."
"Sorry for my rudeness, I am Amanda, her best friend." The girl I learned is Amanda, took out her hand and wanted me to shake it.
"Nice to meet you Amanda, I am Jimin." I took her hand and shook it. We stayed under the tree for a little longer until Maddie had to run to the bathroom to pee from all the laughing. So she left me alone with Amanda.
"Is she really that obsessed about werewolves?" I was curious, not that I doubted it, but I just had to hear it from someone else.
"Yeah, she scared me really good when I heard it the first time. She doesn´t know that we exist. She might be my best friend, but she has never been at my place."
"I get the feeling that you are from The Red Moon pack and are of alpha blood. Am I correct?"
"Yes, you are correct. My brother and I were the ones that accepted you into our school." I looked at her, shocked.
"Really? To be honest, I thought it was your father who did that?" Amanda looked a bit sad when I mentioned her father.
"No, both he and our mom got killed in a rouge attack last year. Since then, my brother has taken over as the alpha and I step in and take the role as a Luna until he finds his mate."
"I am so sorry to hear that, Amanda. I didn´t mean to bring up such a sad memory."
"Don´t worry about it, I´ll be fine. It´s just such a rare thing to happen."
"I know. But since you are here now, I just have to ask where I can possibly go for runs around here without risking running into humans or entering your packlands."
"As soon as I dropped Maddie at her place. I´ll come back here to pick you up and drive you to where you can run. You are welcome to run on our parklands. That is honestly the safest place to run if you need to let out your wolf."
"Thank you, I appreciate it." We kept chatting away and I learned that the rouge attacks have become even more frequent than it has been. I offered my help if they needed it, at least while I am still here.
