Forbidden Love

Chapter 7

Maddie POV

As I came back from the bathroom, I saw that Jimin and Amanda were talking. It was a rare sight to see Amanda talk like that with a stranger. Don´t get me wrong, it makes me happy to see that she is trying to make new friends. As I got closer, they stopped talking and they both got to their feet. They both approached me, Jimin gave me a hug and kissed the top my head.

"Thank you for today, Maddie. I will head to my room and start to unpack. I´ll see you tomorrow. OK?"

"Huh, but we are not done with the tour."

"Darling, school is over for today, look at the time." I looked at my phone, s**t, it´s almost 4PM.

"I guess you are right. Uhm, Jimin. Could I get your number so that we stay in touch?"

"Sure, give me your phone and I´ll type it in for you." I gave him my phone and watched him as he typed in his number before he returned my phone to me.

"Thank you, I´ll text you later so that you have my number as well."

"Sounds good, see you tomorrow Maddie. Once again, nice to meet you Amanda." He gave me one last hug and then went for the dorms. As I watched him walking away I couldn´t help but to have this empty feeling growing in my stomach.

"Come on Maddie, I will drive you home." I followed Amanda to her car, jumped in and put on the seat belt. For once, it was a quiet ride home. Normally Amanda is the one to talk my ears off, but she was quiet. I guess it took a lot in her to talk to someone she just met.

"Thanks for the ride Amanda, I´ll see you tomorrow morning. Maybe a bit earler, if you are OK with that?"

"Don´t mention it. I´ll come a bit earlier tomorrow morning. Don´t worry. Talk to you later!"

"As every day. Bye! Take it easy with the training!" Amanda just laughed and drove off as soon as I closed the car door.

I unlocked our front door and stepped inside. Home alone, great, I hate it. Well, I had better start doing my homework our teacher sent out to me earlier, since I gave Jimin a tour around school and missed my classes today.

I walked out to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water when I saw a note on the fridge.

"Little pumpkin, your mother and I will be home later. There is money at the usual place, so you can order something. Don´t stay up to late and wait for us. Love you, Maddie.// Dad"

Great, then I guess it´s pizza tonight. I took out my phone, dialed the number to the pizzeria and ordered a big family sized pizza with extra pepperoni and cheese. I took out the money from where my parents had put it and went up to my room. About 20 minutes later, the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs, and brought in the pizza. But before I closed the door, I could´ve sworn I saw a big black wolf with skyblue eyes. I shook my head and looked again, but it was nothing there. I guess today´s event has exhausted my brain. I am officially going crazy, starting to see things. I closed the door and went up to my room to eat and study. I sent a text message to Jimin to make sure he had my number. 2 hours later I got a response from him.

'Hi! Thanks for texting me. Sorry for the late response, I had a little workout session. How are you doing?'

'Hi! Don´t worry, I have just finished the homework that was sent to me and finished my pizza. I am exhausted. How was your workout?'

'It was good. I guess I needed it after the trip here and then walking the entire day. I will start with the homework myself now. Mind if I text you if I need help?'

'Not at all, just don´t time it when I am in the shower! ;)'

'I won´t. Or I will at least try not to ;P' I can´t help but smiling, he truly is a sweet guy. For some reason, I have this nagging feeling in my body that tells me that it is wrong to flirt with him, like I would end up being hurt. But at the same time, I can´t help it, it feels like I have to, or more like I need to. I have this feeling that I need to be with him. I just don´t understand why. I shook my head and went to take a shower, hopeful that it would help we get Jimin out of my mind for a bit, even that strange wolf I saw in my dream last night.

When I was done in the shower, I dried myself off, put on my pajamas and went to lay down on my bed with my laptop. I decided it would be a good idea to start a movie. I took up my phone to check if Jimin hade been writing anything new. I don´t know whjy, but I was disappointed when I didn´t see a new message from him. I pouted a bit for myself, and sent him a text message.

'Hi, just wanted to check up on you. How is the homework going?' I pressed send and layed my phone down. I decided to watch Twilight, not my favorite but it works for the time being.

My phone vibrated beside me, Jimin was fast on answering this time.

'Hi. I am doing just fine, it is not as hard as I thought it would. How was the shower?'

'Glad to hear that everything is going well. The shower was just a shower, you know refreshing.'

'True, so what's your plans for tonight?'

'I was hoping to relax to a movie and maybe get to know you a little bit better.'

'A movie, huh? Which one are watching? Sure, I won't say no to get to know you better, Maddie. What do you want to know about me?'

I thought for a little while. What do I want to know about him?

'How old are you?'

'I am 22. How old are you?'

'Same, 22. Why did you want to come here of all places and finish your last year?'

'I have always wanted to travel. Florida have been a dream destination to visit, even though I am not a fan of this heat. Have you ever traveled anywhere or lived in another place than here?'

'I feel you about that one. I am not a fan of the heat either. Unfortunately I have never been traveling, but I have always wanted to visit Seoul. I am born and raised here.'

'I see, well if you ever are coming to Seoul, let me know and I will show you around. Why are you so obsessed about werewolves? What made you like them so much?'

'I don't know. I think it would be cool to turn into a wolf. But not like in the movies, only when it's full moon. But be able to transfer back and forth you know, whenever I want to.'

We continued to text away, I completely forgot about the movie. Slowly I found myself drift of to sleep, only to have that big midnight black wolf entering my dreams once more.
