Vica's toes curled as she pondered Yezia's offer. She still had no idea if she could trust the woman - and she probably shouldn't. Every ounce of common sense told her that the woman would feed her with as many lies as she could sling through her teeth. And now they were about to climb into bed together and share stories, were they? What was she thinking, trusting someone who had trussed her up and spirited her away like this? Had the last month and a half under Constantine's thumb addled her brain? Ridiculous. And yet here was a chance to learn about Constantine, all the things he would never tell her.
