CHAPTER 2: SURPRISE

Erik'sPOV

I softly open my eyes and spotted my little beautiful mate.

I got up to bed slowly, careful not to wake her.

"Alpha, are you awake?" my third in command Ian mind-linked me.

"Yes"

"We smelled something and tried to find what or who it was. It was the rouges! And they're not an ordinary rouges. They belong to the Raging Tail, from our enemy pack"

"Raging Tail? But they're gone! I killed they're alpha long time ago!" I clenched my teeth in anger.

"I know Alpha. I'm now trying to get some information about them"

"Good, Take your time" This is why I picked Ian as my Third in command. He knows what to do next. He's not like the others who doesn't think, not as good as Vincent though. He's the best.

"Raging Tail Pack" I mumbled. What do they want now?!

I walk towards my mate and laid beside her. I smelled her scent, It is the most sweetest scent I ever smelled. As I was smelling her I dozed off.

Clara'sPOV

I woke up and found a handsome man sleeping beside me. I smiled as I remembered that I found my mate. Words cannot describe how handsome he is. "Erik" I whispered, hoping it can wake him up. I really need to go to the bathroom. I start running my hands to his face, tracing his jawline. I was mesmerized by how handsome he is that I forgot that I need to go to the bathroom.

After a while of just laying down I got bored and tried to wake him up again. "Erik" I said, this time louder. He moved and I heard him moan a deep husky moan. "Erik" I poked his cheeks to wake him up. Erik's eyes fluttered open and I saw his amazing Green-Blue eyes.

"Good Morning My Love" He said while tightening his grip into my waist.

I smiled and curled into him "I need to go to the bathroom sweetie" I whispered.

"Okay" He said. He kissed my forehead and then let's go of me. I instantly missed his touch.

I stand up and proceed to the bathroom.

After a minute and so I finished my thing and start fixing myself.

"Babe?" I heard Erik calling for me while knocking at the door.

"Hmm?" I replied. I'm currently brushing my teeth.

"Can I come in?" He asks.

I cleaned my mouth and made sure i washed every bit of toothpaste. "Yeah"

I heard the door opening and saw him entering. I followed his movements through the mirror and watched everything he does. He stopped beside me and start washing his face. He's so perfect, every movement of his muscles are so sexy. I'am so lucky he's my mate.

"Like what you see?" He said while smirking. I turned away hiding my blush. I heard him chuckle and walked behind me. He hugged me from behind and we're currently looking at our reflection through the mirror.

I smiled at him as I welcomed the sparks and electricity from his touch. He kissed my shoulders "Look whenever you want, I'm all yours baby"

"Ha-Ha" I mockingly laughed at him and turned around to face him.

"I have a surprise for you" He said while hugging me.

"And that is?" I say hugging him back.

"Something you will love" Erik says pulling away. I looked at him and he wiggled his eyebrows. I giggled and starts exiting the bathroom.

"I'm thrilled Sweetie" I say while closing the bathroom door.

"What do you think the surprise is?" My wolf asks with an excitement tone in her voice.

"Let's wait and see darling" I say.

Erik'sPOV

I felt Clara's gaze. I know she's watching everything I'm doing and I love the attention she's giving. After I finished washing my face I looked at her and saw her looking at me with lust in her eyes.

"Like what you see?" I asked while smirking. She immediately turned her head to hide her blush. I chuckle at her movement. She's just so cute. I walked behind her and hugged her. I kissed her shoulders "You can look whenever you want, I'm all yours baby"

"Ha-Ha" She mockingly laughed and turned to face me. "I have a surprise for you" I say while hugging her.

"And that is?" She said while hugging me back.

"Something you will love" I say pulling away. I wiggled my eyebrows at her and she giggled. She then starts exiting the bathroom. "I'm thrilled sweetie" She says as she closed the door.

When Clara left I start fixing myself and When I'm sure I did everything I mind-linked Ian.

"Got anything?" I asked.

"Yes, Alpha" He says.

"Good"

"I'm on my way back Alpha. I'll contact you as soon as I return"

"Take Care Ian"

"Yes Sir"

After our conversation I also mind-linked Vincent. "Finished everything?" I asked.

"Of course, who do you think I am?" I only imagined him smirking.

"Ha-ha" I mockingly laughed. "This better can make your sister happy"

"Ow she'll be so happy"

"Okay see you later"

I opened the door that connects to the bathroom. It's our walk in closet. In the right side is for my mate and the other side is for me. Then there's this huge mirror in the middle.

I walked out in our walk in closet and saw Clara sitting on the bed fully clothed.

She smiled and stands up "Let's go?" I asked as I instantly wrapped my hand on her waist.

"Yes" She said. We then exits the room.

Clara'sPOV

After Erik Showed me around the pack house we headed to his office. Erik said that we are waiting for my brother to come.

*knock knock*

"Come in" Erik said.

I saw my brother entering the room his eyes instantly landed on me and he walked to me.

"How are you?" He says while hugging me.

"I'm okay" I say hugging him back.

He pulls away and looked at Erik. By the looks of their faces I can tell that they are talking through mind-linking. Erik stands up to his seat and grabbed me outside to a room besides his office.

"Go Look" Erik says pushing me gently towards the door.

I opened the door and when I looked what's inside the room It's full of books. I turned around to look at Erik. "Surprise!" Erik says scratching his head while smiling sheepishly.

I stared at the room with awe. I'am obsessed with books "I loved it, Thank you Erik" I say. I feel Erik's arms surround my waist and his head resting to my shoulder. "I'm glad you liked it my princess"

I looked around, I'm so excited to read all of this! I turned around to looked at Erik. I guessed he was mind-linking someone from the expression on his face. Erik's Green-Blue eyes instantly landed on me. He smiled "I have a work to do sweetheart"

"Work Hard" Was all I can say. He smiled at me again and then He and my brother exits the room. I sighed.

I pulled one book and sits on the chair beside the window and began reading the book called Tainted.

Erik'sPOV

I'm totally relieved that Clara loves it. I asked Vincent what Clara loves the most and what can I give her to make her at home or to make her comfortable staying here. I also want to lessen the pain she's feeling from losing her pack and parents. So when I saw happiness in her eyes I'm relieved.

"Alpha, I'm Back" I frowned. I guess I have work to do.

"Let's meet at my office"

I feel Clara's gaze and looked at her. I smiled at her "I have work to do sweetheart"

"Work Hard" Clara says while smiling. I then looked at Vincent signaling him that he has to come with me. We exits the room and proceeds to my office that is beside the library of Clara.

I opened the door to my office and saw Ian sitting. I entered and he stands up and bowed to me. I continued walking to my desk and sit down.

"So, What did you got?" I asks.

"That pack grew larger not enough to beat ours. Basically someone who leads a group of rouges Named Klaus proclaimed that they'll join the Raging Tail pack. I don't know what he did to become their Alpha"

"I guess we have to be on our guard"

"That's not it Alpha" Ian says while tensing up.

"What do you mean?" Vincent Asks with nervousness in his voice.

"They're the one who attacked and killed Luna's Pack"

When I heard this I know my eyes turned black. I clenched my teeth in anger. How dare they to make my mate suffer that! "Let's go and kill them all! They made our mate sad!" My wolf growled.

"Not now Liam but they'll pay. They'll pay for making Clara cry" I growled back.
