CHAPTER 4: INTRODUCE 2

Clara's POV

Erik walks toward the stage, tapping the mic twice. He cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention.

"Good evening Everyone" Erik greeted the pack. I saw the pack bowed their heads.

"Few of you knows that I have found my mate. I'm actually thrilled at this very moment to announce that I HAVE FOUND MY MATE!" He shouted the last part. After the crowd finished shouting and cheering their alpha. Erik gestured me to go to him.

I walked to Erik feeling the stares to me as I walk. Walking with my head high and with grace. I remembered my mom. I remembered the words she always said to me.

"Always move with elegance."

I smiled, remembering her. I miss her so much, I wished she's here to witness this.

Erik reached his hands out for me and I gladly took it.

"I'm happy to introduce to you my mate, Clara. Your one and only Luna!"

Everyone bowed at me. When they raised their head I smiled at them.

I hear some of them whisper "she's beautiful" while some are shouting and cheering.

Everyone walked towards me to introduce their selves some hugged me and said 'congrats'

"I'm tired"My wolf whined.

I agree with her. Talking to these many people are exhausting. I tried to find Erik through the crowd and as expected he found me first. I saw him walking towards me without breaking our eye contact. When he's in front of me his hands automatically found the way to my waist.

"How are you?" He asked

"I'm Fine just-" Cutting myself. I rested my head to his chest.

"Just?" Erik whispered while kissing my temple.

"Just tired"

"Let's go home" Erik said as he pulled me away through the crowd.

"B-but we can't just leave!"

"Yes we can actually" Erik said with a tone that says it's final. I stopped struggling and just let him pull me away to the pack house.

"Let's shift. That way we can go home faster"

"I can't" I said with finality. I saw Erik's confused looks but he quickly masked it.

"Okay, Just climb on my back," He said smiling. I'm actually prepared at that moment when I thought he's going to ask why but I'm glad he just let it slide.

Erik'sPOV

"I can't" She said with finality. I want to ask why but thought second of it. I don't want to push her to tell me her secrets. I know she trusts me but I think it's not the time yet. She just lost her old pack. I'll give her time.

"Okay, Just climb on my back" I said with a smile on my face. I saw relief in her eyes. I let my body change to my wolf form.

I now feel myself standing on four paws. I feel the grass on my paws and feel my fur being swept by the wind. I signal Carla to climbed on my back. I slightly bend my knees for her to climb on back easier.

I'm bigger than normal wolves thanks to my alpha blood and then I started running back to our home.
