The Werewolves Vampiric Mate

Two- Ally

I groan slightly at the pounding at my door and slowly lift myself from the burrow I made on my bed out of blankets and pillows. I rub at an eye rather roughly and let out a yawn, followed by a huff. "Come in" I mumble hoarsely due to still being drowsy from my slumber.

Turning my head towards the door I watch my favorite maid, Elaine, shuffle her way through the door with her bright red eyes gleaming at me. "I still wonder why you sleep so much, Dear." Elaine let out a small chuckle and walked over, placing a wine glass filled with delicious red liquid swirling inside down on the nightstand. "I know, I know. Our kind doesn't need sleep. But it's refreshing." I huff back with a pout and trail my pale fingers underneath the glass before raising it to my lips. I inhale the sweet scent and purr happily. The warm liquid slid down my throat as I quickly gulp it down. 

"Ahh.." I hum out while placing the glace back onto the nightstand and gave a fanged grin up at her favorite vampire. "Thank you. Delicious as always." I smile and slid myself out of bed, stretching my arms up into the air afterward. "What do I have to do today, hm?" I say with little enthusiasm and walk to my bathroom with Elaina scurrying behind me. 

"You have a meeting with your parents, Princess. We have a few guests arriving." She said, eyeing me carefully. I nod with a sigh and run the water to my bath, my red eyes watching the tub slowly fill. "The werewolves, right?" I close my eyes, already knowing the answer.

Not waiting for her to finish I turn the water off and step into the steaming hot water. I let out a relaxed sigh while lowering myself down into the water, leaning back onto the back of the tub. I trail my hand through my long white hair and sunk further into the bath. "Get my clothes ready, please Elaine. You know what I like." I smile gently and look up at her before my red eyes close I listen to the sound of the door closing. I sink further down into the tub until I disappear under the water. After twenty minutes, I step out of the tub and grab ahold of my towel. I wrap it around myself and leave the bathroom, smiling at Elaine patiently waiting with my dress laid out on the bed.

With a little help from Elaine, I smiled at myself in the mirror and slid my hands down the black floor-length dress I was not wearing. "Perfect, as usual." I sigh happily and down a small twirl in satisfaction before turning towards her maid. "I suppose I need to go now?" I say with a small frown, watching her nod her head.

I followed my maid from my room and all the way to my father's office. I look at Elaina as she squeezed my arm to give me some courage. Giving her a smile I lifted up my hand and knock on the door. "Father, it's me, Ally." I said with a shaky tone, closing my eyes and waiting for a response. I open my eyes when I hear my father's deep voice on the other side of the door. "Enter my dear." He said with a calmness in his voice.
