Chapter 2

Alex arrived home from school. He sees Ken working on his reports and Elizabeth using a microwave.

"She's defrosting mince." Ken said while smiling.

"It's like alien technology, this thing." Elizabetth said while smiling.

Alex put his leather jacket onto the hanger before he go to his room.

"Oh, Alex. How's school? Did you got your grades" Ken asked as he wanders about Alex's grades.

"I got all As." Alex answers as he grab a drink. "I got into NYU."

"Oh, well, that's great, isn't it?" Ken asked while smiling. He offers a handshake. "Well done, son. NYU is a good choice for college."

"Yeah, Emily's going there too, so she wants to share a dorm room with me." Alex said to Ken.

"Ah, if that's what you want, go ahead." Ken said as he smiles.

"Thanks, dad." Alex said as he walks upstairs to pack for the weekend.

In his bedroom, Alex's packing up for the weekend and take a break. He was wondering about his relationship with Emily.

It was fall season, sophomore year. Everyone was excited for homecoming. People heard the rumors that Emily broke up with her ex named Oliver Jones.

For months Alex put his feelings for Emily on the back-burner as he watched her walks down the hallway.

Alex also have to listen to people to whisper in the halls about how 'cute she is'. 

The night of homecoming came around and Alex sit down as he saw Emily running out to the hallway. He decided to go after her.

Emily rushed to the bathroom and sat on the floor, wiping away tears that fell down her cheeks. Alex find Emily crying.

"Are you okay?" Alex asked as he enters the bathroom.

"Yeah, my dad is mad at me for dump Oliver. I'm embarrassed to say I used to date him last year. He seems nice enough at first, but he turned out to be a bjg mistake." Emily said after wiping away tears from her cheeks. She turns around where she sees Alex and shocked. "Oh my god, Alex William! Oh my god."

"What?" Alex asked in confused.

"Sorry, I have this huge crush on you and I wanted to be your girlfriend so badly. I know that you're a nerd, but to me you're a hottie and incredibly cute." Emily said as she confessed to Alex.

"Wait, you love me?" Alex said astounded.

"Duh, look at you, you are incredibly cute." Emily chuckled. "Dance is kinda boring, isn't it?"

"Yeah, wanna go home?" Alex asked.

"Sure." Emily said as he takes her to his home. "My parents are out for the weekend, wanna stay with me?"

"Sure." Alex said as they walks out of the bathroom. They both walked into his car as they drives to Emily's house.

Alex carries Emily to her bedroom where she can take off her clothes and put on her pajamas. Alex fell asleep that night holding Emily tight, his arms around her waist and her head on his chest. 

Back in the present, Alex arrives to pick Emily up for their weekend getaway. He knocks the door and sees Emily's father, member of Natural Selection organization and Pride County Sheriff named Joesph Pond.

"Evening, Mr Pond." Alex said while greets his girlfriend's father.

"Ah, Alex Williams, son of the president of the organization, here to take my daughter on a weekend getaway?" Joesph greets politely.

"Yeah, we'll be back on Sunday." Alex answers.

"That's fine." Joesph said as Emily walks downstairs with her suitcase. "You two have a nice weekend."

"Okay, dad." Emily said as she hops into Alex's car and drives off.

After they left. Joesph closed the door and shows his true colors. He hates Alex and thinks he's too good enough for Emily. He calls Ken on his phone.

"Ken, it's me. What's our next phase?" Joesph asked while talking on the phone, smiling evilly.

Flash forward to Biology class, One week later. Everyone are in class as Joesph and the two deputies enter the classroom.

"Apologies for barging in, but I want to warn the students. After school, you all must go home and pray. A demon has appeared last night, and practically murders Holly at our favorite café." Joesph said announcing there is a demon in rush.

Emily felt worried that the demon was actually Alex.

Alex and Emily arrived to their secret place for the weekend. Emily lays her head onto his shoulder as she rests for a bit. Alex carries her inside and put her to bed. He goes out to stop the car.

Emily wakes up from her nap and looks around the room. She checks the time on her phone and it's only 7:15. She saw Alex stopped the car before she decided to help.

"Okay, sorry I didn't stop the car. Don't want it to crash." Alex said as he opens the trunk.

"It's alright, babe." Emily said as she helps unload the groceries. "So, I bought all of your favorites, and I thought we can cuddle up in bed and watch a movie together."

After they finish unloading the groceries. They cuddle up in bed and watch a movie on TV. Emily grabs some of Alex's favorites and make some popcorn. After that, she walks to their room and watch a movie.

"I love you, puppy." Emily said as she smiles.

"I love you too, baby." Alex said as he smiles back.

The next day, Alex has difficulty starting the lawnmower and inadvertently launches it into the air, tossing it more than 100 ft (30 m) away.

"The fuck." Alex said in shocked.

Emily saw what he did in shocked. "Alex, what happened?" She asked in shocked.

"I don't know. I had trouble starting the lawnmower and it flew miles away." Alex answers and explains to Emily.

He approaches it, as it is overturned and still running. Curious about his newfound abilities, Alex stops the motorized blade with his hand.

"Weird." Alex said in shocked.

Emily sits in the living room, watching TV. She has her cozy blanket around her. Alex walks in to join her.

"Alright, puppy?" Emily asked as she lay on Alex's shoulder.

"Yeah, stupid lawnmower." Alex answers.

"Broken?" Emily asked.

"Yeah. I really have to get a new one." Alex answers as they watch TV.

At night, Alex and Emily decided to go out for dinner in a nice fancy restaurant where she recommended. They're currently waiting for their food they ordered.

"You okay?" Emily asked as she smiles.

"Yeah, Can't believe you and I are going to NYU." Alex said as Emily smiles.

"Yeah, sharing a dorm together." Emily said as she smiles. "I'm going to major in drama where I can continue being an actress. What about you?"

"Arts." Alex answers. "I draw my artwork. Do you have plans after college?"

"Yeah, I want you to marry me, have a baby and spend our lives together." Emily answers that she wants to marry Alex after college. "You?"

"I want to start an animation studio. Where we can treat people as family."  Alex answers as he explains his dream to start an animation studio.

Emily smiles. She's very supportive of his dream of being an artist. She bit her lip in hesitation but with quick judgement grabbed your jacket edge, bringing hin down to kiss her.

Alex eagerly returned the kiss, placing his hands on her hips as she moved her arms around his neck.

One morning, Alex and Emily are packing up to return home. While they're on their way home, the car accidentally hits the tree, breaking the window.

"Oh boy." Alex said in nervous. "My dad is going to kill me."

"Alex, it's okay." Emily said in forgiveness. "It's only an accident. We can tell our parents. They'll understand."

"I hope so." Alex said as they continue drive home.

When they arrived home, they told their parents about the car accident. Joesph, however is not happy.

"The only reason Emily is in this mess is because of you. You may love her, it doesn't mean you're good enough for her. This relationship is over." Joesph said in anger as he grabs Emily. "Let's go."

Alex walked inside of the house in anger as Ken walked behind him. "You knew this?!" He asked in anger.

"Come on, son. You're not good enough for her, and she's too good for you." Ken said.

Elizabeth walked into the kitchen in confused. "What on earth is going on?" she asked.

"He, and Joesph want to end mine and Emily's relationship." Alex answers in anger.

"I'm just saying that he's not good enough for Emily." Ken said to Elizabeth.

Alex walks upstairs to his room and kick his desk in anger. He makes a fist as his fist started a fire.

"They will all pay!"
