Louisa got up and left the office without saying anything more. In her room, she sat on the edge of her bed and buried her face in her hands. She was beginning to get used in the pack, and now she was being forced to go to another pack. Would she keep moving from one group of wolves to another? When was she going to find a permanent place to stay? To call home? She sat there thinking, and by the time she climbed into bed to sleep, it was well past midnight. She had no luggage to pack, she would just wake up and leave in the morning, in the very clothes that she wore. She had barely put her head on the pillow when morning arrived.
