“Dude! What the f**k?” Caleb whispered to the entire table.
Noah and Alpha Zach exchanged a look.
Elena’s heart was racing. She felt awful for Alpha Scott but most of all, she felt confusion.
“Did that actually just happen?” Sara, Alpha Scott’s sister and Zach’s wife looked heart broken. Tears sprang to her eyes and she was obviously crushed.
“How have they not marked each other?” Zach’s Beta Ben asked. “2 f*****g years?”
Violet moved closer to Elena. “It’s because you can’t mark a siren,” she whispered in Elena’s ear so quietly that Elena had to struggle to hear her.
Elena nodded. She knew this about Siren’s. Because Emily was only a small part siren, Caleb was able to mark her with basically no concerns. But she knew this wasn’t the case for all.
