The fancy wall clock says it is five minutes past Ten PM. That means I have one hour left before I finish the document I am reviewing and report back to my father. I swallowed hard a big bile as I let out a soft sigh. Things have been happening very fast and I seem to have no control over it anymore. The memories of what has taken place tonight make me set my jaw and, at the same time, caress Mary further. She has been terrified of the guns. She had gone pale and startled at the godfather's actions. I expected her to be dejected by the fact that I played her, and laid down a test for her to pass, but surprisingly, she wasn't annoyed.
