Natalie POV:
As soon as we got back home Shawn rushed to me. I didn’t know how bad I looked but I knew that Will wouldn’t be happy.
“Natalie, can you tell me what happened?” Shawn asked as he leaned over me.
“I was trying to build hedges to block the bombs but one got by.” I replied.
“Doesn’t look like you were directly hit.” Shawn muttered.
“No, I wasn’t. It landed in front of me and blew me backwards.” I sighed. I needed to work on getting faster or something because it shouldn’t take me that long. I’m also curious as to why they attacked them.
“I hear a new human was found.” Shawn said. I knew he was trying to make small conversation to keep my mind on other things.
