We remained calm and smiled as we passed by people. So far I haven’t seen anyone without white in their hair. When we came around the corner Ash and the rest of them were waiting on us.
“There you guys are.” Ash smiled but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“We were just coming back, let’s go inside.” I replied.
“Uncle Ash! Ezie is practicing her shield with me. Isn’t that cool?!” Jordan laughed.
“That is way cool buddy. Are you hungry?” Ash asked.
“Starving! Can we go eat?” Jordan questioned.
“Absolutely. Come, I’ll take you to get some food but I have a question for you.” My mother said as she knelt down to be eye level with him.
