I pulled Natalie from the room leaving Devonna, Ash and Will to themselves. I didn’t want to scare my people with her. They’ll have to wait to see her.
“How are you feeling?” I asked.
“Nervous honestly, I didn’t know any of that had happened but I am thankful for it.” Natalie replied.
“Your mom was incredibly brave. I remember in one of the books it had mentioned how she protected you in every aspect. She knew all the tricks to the elements.” I whispered. I honestly wish there was a way for her mom to come back even for just a bit to teach her what she needed to know.
