Ezmeralda POV:
I can’t waste a single second. I managed to tackle him to the ground and pin him under me before starting to wail punches onto him, anywhere I can hit. No body part is safe at this moment. I can feel his blood on my fists. His eyes glowed the brightest yellow before he released all of his power outward at me. A yellow beam of light hit me in the chest and sent me flying in the air. My back hit the stone table before I hit the ground, hard.
For a moment I felt like I couldn’t breathe. What the hell was that? I gripped my chest gasping for air. My back feels like it is on fire. I looked down to see a hole is burnt into my shirt, right where I was hit. I can smell my skin is burnt too. I wonder if the injuries I sustained here will come back out into the real world with me
