I told her when she wanted to take my sister away. The little girl is my sister I have to protect her.

Vera as being asleep for a while now... it's my fault she's like this... I talked too much and it hurts her.

They looked so cute together.. Violet as a big sister and Ivory as a little one I wish I can have an artist paint this out for me. I giggled sightly and as for our light sleeper, she woke up immediately and stared at me

But she didn't say anything to me neither did she look at me

I strike again but she said nothing..her silence is starting to piss me off
"Violet am talking to you...??!!!!"
I yelled and the baby woke up in loud cry
" Hush now Ivory..am here.."
I watched Violet put her on her laps and sent her back to sleep and I almost choked
" Yes...fa_..... father! I was just thinking of how nice the name is. Am sure am much better than the person who named me!"
Her voice and eyes were cold and I was feeling hot and cold at the same time..
" Take care of yourself and your sister..."
I couldn't stand that innocent gaze of hers.. I went out nodding at the maid before leaving..
I took it upon myself to question some guards...it was then I felt relieved to know that violet didn't get to hear anything at all in particular for her to give me sudden chills. Maybe she was just angry that I didn't act like a father towards the innocent baby.
" He called for you...?"
" Yes..we just told him we didn't see the princess. But I wasn't on duty..if the king hears I'll be dead "
" I was on duty but I saw the princess going to the queen's chambers.. and I didn't dare peep "
"It's okay.. just keep your mouths shut or I'll tell the princess of your current gambling den here in the palace and if that happens the king will hear of it "

It has been days since I held my baby.. I didn't even get to hold her.. I gave up on her..
Pain surge my body as I woke up.. I didn't realize how long I slept but I know it's right after Zuma's bitter confession. Whatever happens Ivory is his own flesh and blood if Violet is not.
