Author's POV.
Eva's heart shattered as she stared at her mate, his eyes were clouded with tears which he was withholding from dropping.
"You can't see me" Eva let out a cry.
"No…I can but…" Alpha Trent lowered his gaze and his tears fell out of his eyes.
"W-What do you mean by that?" Eva hastily moved closer to him and grasped his face with both hands. “Trent, tell me that you can see me” Eva asked in desperation, she was extremely anxious and mirthless.
“I can but it's blurry and my eyes and head hurt when I stare too much or try to see more clearly"Alpha Trent replied and his tears rolled to her palms.
Eva's heart clenched, she could feel each pain that her mate felt. It was really deep and hurtful like her heart was going to burst out.
