The silence in the room felt almost suffocating, each second stretching longer than the last. Alpha Dwayne's unexpected appearance had thrown me into a state of confusion. I tried to focus on the television’s low hum, but my thoughts were a tangled mess of worry and embarrassment. How had my night taken such a strange turn? His eyes seemed to bore into me, and I could feel his gaze like a physical weight. It was unsettling, to say the least. My heart pounded loudly, the noise in my ears almost deafening. I couldn’t believe I was here, alone with Melissa’s husband, in this awkward and uncomfortable situation. "Patricia," Alpha Dwayne's deep voice broke the silence, rich with an almost disarming calmness. "What brings you here so unexpectedly? Melissa wasn’t expecting you tonight”. I struggled to keep my voice steady. “Melissa came to pick me up from the airport. I’m... staying here for a while.” He muttered an “Oh”. “Where is Melissa?” he asked, glaring at me. “Ssss... she’s asleep in her room,” I managed to stutter. He nodded, his expression unreadable. “I see. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask.” I felt a mix of relief and unease. His unexpected kindness was at odds with what I had heard about him. He shot me a suspicious look, With that he turned and walked away, leaving me alone with my frazzled thoughts. It wasn’t until he had gone far that I wondered why he had come down the stairs wearing only a towel, straight after his shower. My heart was still racing when Melissa walked in, I thought she was already asleep, her face looked tired but kind. She took one look at me and her expression softened. “I’m sorry about that,” she said, noticing my discomfort. “Dwayne didn’t mean to intrude. He was just getting a late-night swim.” “It’s fine,” I replied, trying to sound more relaxed than I felt. “It was just a surprise.” Melissa gave me a reassuring smile as she sat down next to me on the couch. “You look exhausted. Let’s get some sleep. We can talk more in the morning.” Sleep was the furthest thing from my mind. I glanced at Melissa and said, "I'm not ready to sleep yet. You go ahead; we'll talk in the morning." She opened her mouth to argue but quickly closed it, knowing it wouldn't help. With a reluctant goodnight, she hugged me tightly before slipping out of the room. “Why don’t we go out for a little race?” Lisa my wolf spoke to me. “Not tonight, Lisa.” All I want was to get a peaceful sleep and at least forget about my sorrow for a moment. I sat there staring blankly at the TV and reminiscing about a handsome man I had just seen. “I insist,” my wolf said again. "Alright, fine, we will, but that would be after I take a few shots of tequila,” I said, making my way to the mini bar. I was conversant with the house since I had visited a couple of times. I reached for the bottle of tequila and poured out a shot for myself, and then another shot. The bitter and acrid taste tingles my tongue and warms me up from within immediately after I take the shots. It was my favorite drink, and I liked the way it tasted each time, despite the burning taste it left on my throat after a while. I lifted myself from the comfort of my seat. It was as if an invisible force tugged at my senses, drawing me towards the window. There, bathed in the soft glow of the full moon, nature's beauty unfolded before me. The moon's gentle radiance painted the world in a surreal hue. I always loved the view of the woods during the night. The grand entrance beckoned, a gateway to adventure nestled amidst the embrace of ancient trees that stood sentinel against the night sky. The air was thick, it carried the heavy fragrance of a night-blooming jasmine that mingled effortlessly with the scent of the forest. I stepped outside the and followed the moonlit path, it's silver glow guided my way through the woods. A solemn silence enveloped me, it was only by by the rustle of leaves underfoot. It had been too long since I answered the primal call of my wolf within. I had denied Lisa exhilarating release of transformation that stirred deep within my soul. The cool air flushed through my face as I walked through the lonely, dark parts into the thick woods. The pack was quiet except for the watch guards on patrol at the borders. Soon I got to an open clearing, and the moon was so bright, illuminating my entire body. I stopped, then scanned the woods with my eyes to make sure no one was watching me. After making sure I was alone and wasn't followed, I slowly peeled away my clothes. until I stood adorned only in the delicate embrace of my panties and bra. I took a deep breath before I ventured to explore the depths of desire, my hand descended between trembling thighs, seeking solace in the promise of release. A sigh escaped my lips, mingling with the night air, it was a lamentation born of unfulfilled longing as my fingers glistened with arousal. A rush of anticipation swept over me, igniting a primal yearning that surged through my veins like a relentless tide. Every fiber of my being throbbed with an insatiable hunger for pleasure. I wasn't satisfied, I knew that my craving that stirred deep within my soul. I sought remained a distant dream, shimmering like a mirage of desire. With a big sigh, I finally surrendered to the reality of the moment. I shedded the last piece of clothing on my body as I tossed away my bra and panties, baring myself to the night sky in silence. I stretched in languid to find comfort in the uncertainty steeling myself for what lies ahead. I savored the moon in all its glory, and I stood and began my shifting process. I lower myself to the ground, as I took got on all fours. I fixated my mind on the act of transformation. The air was filled with the sounds of bones realigning, each crack and pop a nod to the metamorphosis taking place within me. After a few moments, my muscles shifted subtly, the transformation was completed. Rising onto newly formed paws, I took a moment to acquaint myself with the sensation of the earth beneath me. With every touch, my senses awakened, heightened by my primal instincts. The earth yielded beneath my touch, it reminded me of my newfound connection to the natural world. My senses sharpened to a keen edge, as I inhaled deeply. I drew in the scents that dance upon the night air. It's a sensation I never got tired of, the rush was exhilarating. The sensation that comes with every shift, was intoxicating. I stood amidst the embrace of the wilderness, I was reminded once again of the pleasure that accompanies the act of transformation. It's a feeling that transcends the mundane, a sacred communion between body and soul that leaves me forever changed. I was a beautiful gray wolf with patches of white, my blue-eyes were illuminated. My furs were full. I remembered I was in a strange pack. So, I quickly shifted. I laid on the floor naked, staring at the beautiful moon for a few minutes. At that moment, I heard a sharp rustling and turned back, sniffing a little to ascertain the source of the noise. In no time, a strange scent hit my nostrils. I sniffed the scent a few more times, and I was sure the bearer of the scent was not so far from me. A crisp scent. I turned around, scanning the entire wood with my eyes. But as I approached a certain area of the woods, the smell became stronger. I stopped after realizing I was chasing after a strange scent still in my naked state. I hurried and got dressed before continuing my little search. From afar, I saw a figure standing behind the trunk of a large tree. There it is, the bearer of this sweet smell. I smiled and hastened my steps. However, as I got a little closer to the tree, the scent disappeared, as did the figure I had seen earlier in the scene. “Was I hallucinating?" “Calm down; we are in another pack; besides, there is no one here except us in this woods,” My wolf assures me. However, I couldn’t help but feel that someone had been watching me all along. Maybe my mind was beginning to play little games with me. At that point, fear gripped me, and I couldn’t help but run back to the pack house. As I ran I saw a flash of white in the tree line that was also running after me. The trees seem to whisper behind me to run and I increased the speed of my running.
