chapter 2

I got up and ran to my room as feeling tears falling from eyes. What am I going to do! I don't want to be staying with him for 2 months. I let myself fall onto my bed and hide my face in the pillow. My door opens and I see Tyler standing at the end of the bed.

 "Aww, Rose please don't cry, it won't be that bad staying with Ian."He places his hand on my back and tries to comfort me.

 "No it won't be bad staying ... It will be horrible staying with Him! He has this pride and you know how much I hate people with pride. You know him, he can be so annoying sometimes and he better not act like my dad when I'm staying at his place, he has no right to! And you won't be here so I can't stay at your place when I get tired of him and I can't stay at Mindy's because her parents kinda creep me out. Pleas Tyler can't I go with you to visit your mom or something don't do this to me please." I know I'm overreacting and acting like a 5 year old but I just really don't like him, I can't put my finger on it but something about him annoys me like crazy.

"Well I won't be leaving till summer which is in 1 month. So the first month that you are going to stay at Ian's I'll still be here and I spoke to your dad, and he said that it's okay if you want to come over at my place but you will have to tell Ian. So only the second month you won't have me around, but we can still Face Time or Skype and talk regularly on the phone." He says trying to reassure me. I let out a sigh,

 "I guess you are right." 

 "Of course I'm right sweetie. Just don't think about it that much and you don't even know Ian that well, maybe he will end up surprising you", he says, teasingly, and makes me chuckle

 "Yeah sure, like that will ever happen." I roll my eyes. I look at my phone and it's around 11:30 am. I see a message from Bryan and I remembered we have plans for tonight, hopefully the message doesn't say that he has to cancel again.                                                                                                                                                  

 I open it and read: * hey baby, can't wait to see you tonight, I'll be at your place at 7:00. See you soon ❤*                                                                                                                                                                               

 I reply back saying: * okay babe, see you then*                                                                             

  I thought Tyler had left my room but I see my balcony door open and see him standing there ,checking his phone. I open the door a little wider for me to go on the balcony.

 "I forgot I had a date with Bryan at 7 tonight, he just messaged me to remind me. But I don't know what to wear, do you want to go shopping with me or are you busy?" I ask trying to get my hair out of my face because it's kinda windy.

 "Sorry babe, I can't, I have some things to do today."

 "Ow it's okay, I will ask Mindy then."

 "Alright sweet cheeks, I have to go see you later and have fun at your date tonight Rosy."

 He gives me a kiss on the cheek and heads out. I stare at the beautiful view from my balcony. You can see the beautiful blue sea and its white sand with the amazing skyline. It is fascinating that it never gets old. Like with some things you see, you can get tired of seeing it because it is the same old thing every time, but with this amazing view it's different, every sunrise or sunset is unique, it's never the same. It starts getting a little windier and I head back inside and take my phone to message Mindy and ask her if she wants to go shopping. I straighten up my bed and decide to go see where my dad is and tell him that it's okay that I am staying with Ian and that he shouldn't worry. I head downstairs and find him in the living room checking some papers.

"Hey you got a minute." Sitting down on a chair next to him.

 "Yeah, what's up, kiddo?"

 He stops doing what he was doing and gives his full attention to me. I do like that about him, whenever I need him I know that he will always make time for me.

"Well, I just wanted to say that I am sorry about getting mad at you this morning and lashing out like that, it's just that I didn't like the fact that you are leaving for probably 2 months."

 "it's okay honey, I get it and I thought about it and if you really don't want to stay with Ian, I will try to find someone else and if I don't, I will just have to bring you along with me."

 " No dad, it's okay, I did some thinking and spoke to Tyler and I realized that maybe staying with Ian wouldn't be such a bad thing, I never gave him much of a chance to be honest, and he can't be that bad because after all he is your best friend and you must see something good in him. I can't promise you that I will start liking him, but maybe when he comes to the house I won't be so annoyed of him." I gave him a wink and started laughing.

 "Alright kiddos and no he is not that bad of a guy, he may sleep with a lot of women, but he actually is a nice and caring guy... Ow and before I forget I invited him to lunch tomorrow." Oh. great, I didn't think I would be seeing him so soon. 

 "Okay... sure....sounds good... I guess. Oh. by the way I have a date with Bryan tonight at 7 and I'm going shopping later with Mindy." I say trying to stop talking about Ian.

"Okay, sweetie, I will be home the whole day, maybe working in the office or just maybe take a break and try to relax." 

 "You should really relax dad, you have been working too much." I stand up and give him a kiss on the cheek.

 "I love you dad"

"Love you too Rosy."

 I turn around and head to the kitchen, and he starts focusing on his paperwork again. I open the fridge and pour myself a glass of water. My phone buzzes and sees that Mindy messaged: 

* Yeah, sure no probs, I will be there in an hour and a half*

 I check my phone and its 12:26 pm, so she will probably be here around 2:00 pm. I am back upstairs in my room and turn on the TV, I search if there is anything interesting to watch, but there is only an old episode of Friends, so I decided to watch that. I open my balcony door a little so my room can get a little cooler and head into my closet to decide what to wear. I take out a simple maroon shirt and my ripped shorts and place them on the bed. I get into the bathroom and start doing my daily morning routine. After I'm done brushing my teeth I turn on the shower and strip out of my clothes and tie my hair up in a messy bun. I get in to shower and squirt the shower, gel into my hands and start rubbing it all over my body. After that I dry myself off and head to my room and get into my clothes that I picked out. When I am completely dressed I sit at my makeup table and start doing my makeup. I decided to not wear that much, so I just applied some concealed and foundation, applied a bit of mascara and finished my lips off with a nude color lipstick. I tied my hair up in a better messier bun. I search for my hand bag and placed my wallet, lipstick, some gum and my house keys in it. I check my phone and it is 1:55. scrolling , my i********: and Snap-chat I get a message from Mindy saying that she is outside. Turning off the TV and I head down the stairs.

 "Dad I'm leaving, bye" I say before heading out of the front door and see Mindy waiting in her car.

 "Hiii" she says after she was done applying her lip gloss. 

 "So where do you want to shop? And can we go to the salon because my nails really have to get done." Her face gets a disgusting look when she sees her fingers wrapped around the wheel.

"Yeah, sure no probs. I saw this store in the mall that I really liked but I did not check it out yet, maybe I can find something there, and we can do your nails at that nail salon I always go to, she is fantastic." 

 The rest of the drive, Mindy talks about the guy she had been talking to, and he is super nice and sweet, and he gives her butterflies and all the things a girl gets when she likes someone. Now being the stalker friend that I am, I check him out on every social media I can get. He wasn't a bad looking guy, he was actually really hot.

 "He's hot", I keep scrolling true his i********:.

 We arrive at the mall and head into the stores. Not long after I have a complete outfit to wear. I bought a baby pink Maxi-skirt with a side split that reaches my knees and a white crop top with pastel colors that splashed on it. Our date was going to be at the beach side so this outfit will do. After I paid for my clothes we went to the nail salon and got our nails done. Mindy and I both got our toenails painted white and our hands were just a nude color. We ate a light salad and did some catching up with each other and I told her about me staying with Ian.

 "Omg, but why are you complaining? Yeah! I know you hate him but have you seen the man, he is f*****g gorgeous!" she says looking at me with wide eyes like I am the luckiest girl to be staying with him.

 "First of all, yes, I have seen how hot he is, but hello he is my dad's best friend! That is just wrong!" I make a disgusted face.

"And the second of all I hate his guts, and he will probably have a girl over each night and I will hear them banging each other, do you know how gross that is!"

 "Well, if I were you, I would just join them, who wouldn't want a threesome with Ian" A smirk appears on her face as the thought of her having a threesome comes in her head.

 "EW Mindy!" I cover my ears as she keeps talking.

"Well, that's the difference between us, you would sleep with any guy just like Tyler would sleep with any girl, but I am nothing like you guys. For one, I am still a Virgin. I have no experience whatsoever besides kissing."

 "Ow yeah I forgot... but hey who knows maybe Ian will be the lucky guy." She gives me a wink and the same smirk appears on her face.

 " Oh my gosh Mindy, stop! I have a boyfriend remember? And I would never in a million years have anything with Ian."

 "Yeah, sure whatever you say Rose." She gives me a devilish smile and starts eating her salad.        

I roll my eyes and start eating just to keep my mouth full in case she starts talking again. Sometimes I still don't get why I have friends like this, no wait let me correct that...why I have BEST friends like this. Tyler and Mindy are completely opposite of me. They would sleep with any person they find while I am still a virgin and get scared when a stranger (cute or not) tries to kiss me. But they are amazing friends and extremely good looking and I really don't mind if they have more experience than me and they always know everything when it comes to that, like when a guy is flirting with me I just think they are being nice but then they tell me he was flirting with me. So it is good to have them around. After our meal Mindy dropped me off home. I thanked her for the ride and walked to the front door as I realize that someone else's car is parked next to dads. This can't be happening! I open the door and hear my dad's voice and another familiar voice cheering. Please tell me it isn't who I think it is. I walk into the living room and see them sitting on the couch watching football. 

"Hey Rose" Ian greets me. 

"Hey Ian" I try to say less annoyed as possible.

"Hey kiddo you're back, how was your day?" my dad says when he realized I came into the room.

 "It was fun, I got and outfit for tonight."

 "Where are you going out tonight?" Ian looks at me with a curious face. He probably just wants to start a conversation with me, which I really don't want to have.

 " I have a date tonight with my boyfriend, sorry but I got ta go get ready cause he will be here in an hour." I say trying to keep the conversation as short as possible and besides, I did have to go get ready.

 "Alright, enjoy your date then." he gives me a wink and I give him a shy smile.

 I won't lie he as an extremely hot man. Like him or not you can't deny that fact. when I am in my room I put on some music and take my clothes out of the bag and place them on my bed. I decided to wear sandals because it wouldn't be very handy to wear heels at the beach. I check my phone and its 5:45. Enough time to get ready. I took a short shower and got dressed.

 My phone buzzed and I saw a message from Tyler: *I hope you found an outfit tonight and just wanted to say Have fun on your date tonight babe*

 my cheeks instantly got red and I got a smile on my face. I took a picture of what I am wearing and send it to him. 

 * my outfit.... What do you think? And thanks I will * 

 A few minutes later he replies back: *you look gorgeous that Bryan is a lucky guy* 

 I knew that last sentence was meant sexually but I just send him two laughing emoji and a heart and started to do my makeup. I contoured my face, did my eyebrows, applied my eyeliner and mascara and did my lips a dark red color. I was proud of how it looked. Wearing my sandals and taking the same bag I had this morning I went downstairs. When I got down I saw dad still sitting in front of the TV and a few empty beer cans where on the table. I thought Ian was gone but right when I got into the kitchen I saw him getting some stuff in the cabinet above the sink. I could see a little of his v-line when his shirt lifted. His body is extremely hot. How have I never realized that? I knew it was good looking but never knew it was this hot.you should pay better attention Rose! I scowl at myself. Before he could realize that I was pretty much drooling over his body I turned my gaze around for it to look like I was searching for something in another cabinet but I was too late. He caught me staring and a smirk appeared on his face. 

"You look gorgeous" his eyes going up and down my outfit. 

 My cheeks start to heat up and I murmur a thank you as fast I can and look at him. His eyes never leaving my body.

"So you're still here... don't you have anything else to do?" I quickly say to stop him from staring at me. 

 "You want me gone" he said with the same smirk he had.

 "Yea...Uhm...I mean n-no."Gosh Rose stop stuttering! Get a grip!                                                                 "I mean you're a professor don't you have like school work to do" I say with a little more confidence. 

 "No Rosy, I don't have to." He keeps staring at me...with lust... no that can't be right but what I do know is that it's very intimidating but it looks extremely hot... My thoughts get disturb when I feel a pair of hands on my shoulders. I turn around and see my dad.

"What you guys talking about?" His voice filled with curiosity but the good kind.

 "Nothing" I say my eyes never leaving Ian's. Oh my god what is happening to me! 

"You look stunning honey." Dad says and gives me a Kiss on the cheeks.

 "Thank you daddy." And I return the kiss. 

My phone buzzes and it's a text for Bryan saying he will be here any minute now. I quickly straighten myself up and check myself one last time in front of the mirror in the hall and hear a knock on the door. Opening the door I see Bryan in a baby blue button up shirt. His sleeves rolled up showing his veins and the first 4 buttons of his shirt are open. He is wearing black skinny jeans and Vans. He looked amazing like usual and the color suited him. When he sees me his face lightens up and gets a huge smile. He gives me a small kiss on my lips and pulls a few inches away from my face.

 "Hey baby you look beautiful.

My stomach was saying something else. I got out of bed went in to the bathroom to wash my face. I checked if my dad came home and saw his car parked in the garage when I got downstairs. I went into the kitchen and decided to make some delicious blueberry pancakes.
